Arya’s POV “You are banished from the pack, just leave. No more you are a member of ‘The Silver crest pack’. I, James Anderson, declare that…” Before he was even able to finish his sentence my mom goes in front of him and kneels down begging him to not continue with what he was doing. “Alpha, please don’t do this. I promise, that my daughter won’t repeat her actions ever. Please don’t banish her out of the pack, where will she go?” Crying and holding his feet she begs him making me feel disgusted because it was the situation where due to him I felt the most humiliated. Humiliation is a very small word when it comes to my family kneeling in front of someone and that the guy who was supposed to be my mate made me feel it. Taking a step towards them, I held her by her shoulders and pulled her up. “Mom, get up, please. You don’t need beg in front of a coward and bastard like him. He does not deserve it.” Looking into his eyes, I said making sure for him to know that he is not the only one who feels like he deserves much better. Instead, I don’t feel but believe in it. She gasps glaring at me and then towards the alpha with fear. He chuckles, “Myra, seeing you for a second I thought of giving your daughter a chance but I think she does not deserve it. She cannot be trusted with her being so disrespectful towards her Alpha. If she can be like this in front of the whole pack, who knows she can even plot something harmful behind my back.” “Surely, you are a manipulative jerk I have heard from many. So smoothly you just said such praising words for me but remember that the moon goddess is always the one who decides our destiny and for going against her plans you will for sure face consequences. You can’t talk to our alpha like that, after doing such a heinous act you are now disrespecting him instead of begging him to forgive you? But, since the time Diana has been declared the most powerful female warrior of the pack along with the leader of female warriors he had kept his eyes on her. In a few days everyone became of him hitting on her and also her trying her best to seduce him. Nothing was hidden from the pack member’s eyes, at first like everyone I also thought that they are mates but soon after Diana’s mate came for her and her rejection happened the curtain from everyone’s eyes lifted. But that did not stop them from taking their affair ahead. In the happiness of finally gaining the position of Luna, Diana started behaving rudely and being disrespectful to the members not caring if the member is elder or younger. And, even after many members complained about her to the Alpha nothing changed, she managed to manipulate him into her words and claim the member disrespecting her, saying she does not deserve to be the Luna and alpha had gone blind for choosing you. Every time anyone complained about her, had been at last sentenced to either apologize to her or leave the pack, no matter who the member is. She did not even let go of her own uncle who just said her that she is doing wrong by taking away someone else’s mate. Due to this, he had already left the pack with his family not ready to kneel in front of her. “What position are you in to tell me this?” I questioned Jenny while glaring at her, not at all liking the smile which was sitting on her face as she pointed at me and tried to push me into a much worst position than I already was. “Just stop putting your nose in someone else’s business especially when you are not concerned even to the farthest.” In the position, I was in, and the situation too, I already knew what the result for me would be decided therefore, nothing I held up inside me or scared me. “Huh, how can it not be her business when you are being disrespectful to the alpha?” Diana interrupted and chuckled continuing, “Oh, or do you think that he is your personal property? But, to even consider that you don’t have any rights. Because, if any personal issue can happen with him it only includes me.” Clenching my jaw, I was ready to snap at her but my dad stopped me, “What are doing, honey? Are you even in your senses, just let them be? You are not so aggressive, why are you being like this now?” He questioned gritting his teeth and sounding rough but I know he was being like that out of fear which was visible in his eyes which I have never for once seen in them. “Dad, please don’t be angry with me. You very well know that I won’t behave like this without any reason, right? You believe me, right?” And, I know that he trusts me, the way he was staring at me his gaze was saying it all and that was enough for me. I don’t need anything else if I have his support. His gaze turned to the alpha and then came back to me making me feel nervous. His gaze seemed confident but still, due to the confusion, the involvement of second thoughts disturbed me. Was he really thinking that I can be wrong here? I thought but he proved me wrong when he stand up to the Alpha and took my side. “My daughter never creates ruckus upon anything, therefore, I am sure there is a reason if she has. We should listen to her first, Alpha. Please, just give her a chance to clear herself you cannot just banish her.” Being the previous leader of the male warriors he is confident and very straight in keeping his point. He never takes a stand for anyone without analyzing the situation, no matter who the person standing in front of him is. The alpha scoffed, and frowned at dad, “What do you mean, Brian? Disrespecting your alpha requires any reason?” he looks around at his people and other pack members, “Are you seeing all, even our Brian can be biased. After all, it is a matter related to his daughter. No matter how much shout about justice and fairness, at last, all that goes in vain when it comes to your daughter and family. I think I am not alone here who must have thought that now, NOW, Brian will be setting an example for everyone? He will create history, instead, what is it we are witnessing?” I took a deep breath hearing him, trying to inhale and absorb all the storm in me. To keep myself cool and sustained as now my actions might also include my family in trouble which I had already created for myself. ‘No Arya, no, you cannot let him have his way. He is just trying to provoke you by targeting your family. Calm down, calm.’ I repeated in my head while my dad was taking care of the f*****g alpha we used to call ours. It is so funny, how the whole pack thinks of the Alpha as their own while even sacrificing their life, family, and precious moments of their life. But, the same alpha does not even care about your mere health as you being his pack member, instead thinks of you as his slave who is responsible to save him. Such a double faced creature they are, I am just glad to think that I am not an alpha otherwise who knows I would have been the same. And, I am glad that he did not accept me as his Luna, it is better to be a rogue than his Luna. “Do you even know exactly what had even happened that you just appeared here and are barking while taking her side?” I questioned while feeling disgusted by him. How can being the werewolf, he can even think to go against the will of the moon goddess? Due to whom we exist in this world, he denied her offer. It would be a lie if I will say that it does not hurt but more than that it makes me feel like questioning the moon goddess. Questioning her why did not she pair me with someone who would respect me, for whom I am, and not about how weakling I am. “Huh, after all the brave alpha of the silver crest pack is a coward who is scared of feeling or having a weakness.
