I'm not a bad girl' but i, Do bad things with you. . . . Your pov : Damn all this. Damn my hair, damn this ugly dress, damn this shoes. Most importantly, damn myself, for being stupid in front of the greatest man in New York, I should've known Charlene would be like this. He was very formidable, there was something in his eyes that's so cold and powerful. He's very handsome and charming too. Forget about it, (Y/n). Don't get lost by his pretty face, he's a billionaire, and I will never meet him ever again. "Madam!" A guy yelled, I turned around to find where the voice came from. I saw a guy in a black suit chasing after me, he was tall and strong, dressed just like one of Parker's men, and probably was. "Yes?" "Mr. Parker wanted to see you in his office, right now." "....But I don't want to see him." I hesitantly replied. "It's Mr. Parker's order." He said. His eyes told me he would kill me if I didn't follow the order. So, I went with him back inside the tower I'm glad I left. "Um... i actually have nothing to do here..." I told him awkwardly. "Well, he definitely has something to do with you." He said. "That doesn't sound good." He didn't say anything back, as if he doesn't care what his boss wants from me. He brought me to that woman, I guess she is Mr.Parker's assistant by the way she's the one in charge. She was talking to her coworker about the paperwork in her hands, once she saw me she smiled and handed me a security pass saying 'Visitor'. I hesitated to take it, so she put it on my shirt without my will. Her smile was still red and glossy. "You're going to need the first elevator on the left and choose 69th floor." I felt like I was forced, I can't leave the place. So I sighed and went along with it. Jesus, how many floors are there? This building really is tall. The elevator door wide opened. I walked out to see the reception girl, hair as blonde as pearls. "Hello, Miss.(L/n). I've been expecting for you." Expecting? They did this like I had an appointment or something, the truth is my fake friend just lured me here and I should be gone by now. "Would you sit there and wait? Mr.Parker is in the middle of something." I sat just like she said, it felts like forever, I guessed he must be very busy at the time, yet he wanted to meet me. Finally, the blonde haired girl stood up from her chair, walked toward me. "Mr.Parker will see you now." I obeyed so easily that I hated myself. "By the way, can I give you some advice?" She asked. It confused me a little. "Sure..." "If Mr.Parker has fierce look in his eyes, we call him Sir." I stopped to recall my memory. "But he always has." She smiled at me once again. "Exactly." . . . Parker's pov : I quickly asked Karen to dig her personal information, turned out she has a surprisingly depressing background than she looks. Her father's death, her mother will never wake up again, her little brother is gone from her life. Nora walked in, she's the best assistant I've ever had. She works really well, and she never tried to flirt with me, that's the best part. "I need you to sign these papers." I grabbed a pen and signed. "How's the deal with the army?" "They like your offer so far. By the way, I think we've been contacted by the new costumer." "From?" "I think they want to keep it secret. They offer big money for guns and bullets, I think it's illegal." "Say no," I told her sharply. "If you take this deal, Parker industries will make a history of making more money than Stark industries." "I won't work with these outlaws just to win the man who gave me everything." "Alright, sir." She gave it up, I didn't blame her, she was just trying to point it out. "Oh, and, Ms.(L/n) is ready. Can I bring her in?" I nodded. A couple of minutes later my door opened to see Ms.(L/n). She was still wearing that dress, but her hair was untied. I jerked my face to the chair, she shyly sat there, looked around the room, observed every single thing just to avoid looking at me. So I started the conversation. "Can you tell me specific reasons why you came to my tower?" I think she flinched a little before saying. "You-- really want to know, sir? It's pretty embarrassing." "I have to know, Ms.(L/n). It's the reason I summon you here, you could be Hydra agent coming in to get Avengers information, who knows?" I teased, and it was dangerously adorable how she looked very scared. "My school stopped giving me the scholarship." She said sadly, I can see it in her eyes. "Because?" "I've been absent a lot, sir. I can't make enough money just by part-time job." "Details," I said, she looked at me, her eyes says she doesn't want to tell me any more, but my eyes also say she must obey. My eyes won. "I work at Caulfield bar and grill, it's the part-time job that a seventeen years old can do. Still, it's not enough. And now the school won't give me scholarships. So, some of my friends..." She stopped, decided if it's okay to call them friends. "They... misunderstood. Thought that your company is offering students a scholarship." She covered up for them, I'm impressed. Ms.(L/n) is kind-hearted people. I left her to staying quiet with her thoughts for a while, she seemed so blue. I understand, a little girl in New York City, no parents, and many problems. It must be tough for her, at least I had May back then. I can take care of you, you know that? Shit, where did these thoughts come from? She shook it away and looked at me. Crap, she wanted to leave now, she's dying to leave the room, I can't keep her around. How about just ask her. I wanted to know if you're interested in physical activity with me? She'd screamed. The door opened, Norah walked in. "Excuse me, Mr. Parker. But you're meeting is in ten minutes." "Yes, but we're not finished here. Cancel it." Nora shocked, I never ever cancel any plan. Work was the most important to me until this girl confusedly walked into my tower. Leave. Go. My eyes sent a message to my assistant. She nodded and left, (Y/n) seemed confused and concerned by the fact that i said we're not done, she wanted to go so badly. Other girls would throw themselves at me already, somehow Miss.(L/n) still doesn't know I'm interested in her. She gave up on trying to leave since I stared at her still with cold eyes that she didn't know what I was thinking, so she started asking questions. "You're retired?" Retired? "Of being superhero, i mean." She said, sparks of hope flashed in her eyes, she seemed most relaxing since we first talked. New knowledge, she likes the super hero. "There are no aliens coming lately." I said with such a deadpan face. "I remember watching you and the Avengers in a TV. You were amazing. It's been so long since I saw any of you wearing a suit." "We have new Avengers to fight for us." "You're only 21. Tony Stark was almost fifty fightings against villains." "What are you trying to say?" "That you shouldn't retire just yet." She said as if she was begging, I tried to hide the fact that I was affected by those priceless reactions on her face. Those dreamy eyes, it was everything. I cannot let her go. I just can't. Happiness would look gorgeous on her. "We are currently... opened up for an internship. If you signed up we will automatically give you the scholarship." Her eyes wide opened, she didn't expect this at all, I didn't either. "Since when?" A seconds ago, darling. "Just a couple weeks, I'll be glad if you'd be our first." I maintained my blank face, even though I wanted to smile along with her. "Wow... I-- really? You're not lying, sir?" "Why would I? I'll talk to Nora, visit me here tomorrow okay?" I bent my face closer to hers, the way she looks at me was completely different. "Thank you, Mr.Parker." She said. I stood up, put my arms politely on her waist, she froze. I opened the room, walked her out to the elevator. Nora and the girls dropped their jaws, that's right, I walked a girl out. She walked in the elevator, I put my hands in the pockets, we stared at each one right before the door close, both said softly. "(Y/n)." "Peter." ---------------
