Accidentally in Love

Chapter 6

Hanukkah went really good and I didnt know that it was better than previous year when I usually have Hanukkah only with mom and Jake with dinner in our house just like thanksgiving but this year was different.

Now new year is coming over and the stupid thing I made is I said yes when Ryder asked me to spend New Years Eve together with him and another stupid thing again is Jake went out with Puck so there will be two of us right now. But I will mess it up. I will do that.

I place two pants of pizza, two bottles of cokes then a bowl of popcorn in front of my bed in case Ryder come, I can leave him to sleep and he get food and done.

"Come in!" I shout as I heard someone knock my door.

"Wow you already prepare everything. Are we having a date?" Ryder grins at me and walk downstairs.

"Have a date with yourself." I mumbled.

"I hear you." Ryder smirks at me and sit down next to me.

"You know what? Stay five meters away from me." I simply said to him.

"I brough some movies that we can watch together." Ryder says to me and shows me the dvd.

"I choose this one." I said to him and points to the dvd.

"Nice choice. I watched this three times." Ryder says and put the dvd inside the dvd player.

I just looking at him and sit down near my bed and hugging my pillow. Nobody ask him about how much he watch this movie and I dont care with that.

Ryder is sitting down next to me and hold my pillow from the carpet floor and take the popcorn bowl and place it in the middle of us. I roll my eyes and let out a sigh then turn my face to the tv and focus to the movie.

Ryder's POV

It's kinda fun to spend New Years Eve with a girl that I like because there is only two of us here. Although she is still rude to me but she is cute and I like that when she is talking rude to me except is not really far but that's she is.

Also I know that deep down she just testing me. Well, better luck next time, because I wont give up that easily to get the things I want. I let Marley go with Jake and I never want to miss a chance to get closer with her.

"So tell me that the dictactor die because of nuclear?" Jade asks me while looking at the tv screen.

"No. There will be funny things happened at the end." I turn my face at her.

"I just hope that he died because of nuclear reactor." She simply said.

"I hope so but the end wasnt like that. Just watch that." I said to her.

Jade just nodded and focus watching the movie. I cant focus with the movie because of her. I cant stop starring at her and looking at her.

"I ever read about that country and the dictactor." Jade simply said and eat the popcorn.

"You are into those kind of war and nuclear thing?" I chuckle.

"No." Jade frowns at me. "North Korea is a country that hard to detect even they're not on the google maps." Jade says to me.

"How could you know that?" I raise my eyebrows at her.

"I always got A+ on my geography exams. And I love something mysterious." Jade giggles.

See? If you know she is actually nice. Only a rude at first because I know she is playing it cool. And I guess I'm into her game right now.

"Just kidding, I read fun facts. But about the A+ for geography exams is true." Jade laughs. "Here. I wrote down all the fun facts I got and I made it into one book." Jade says to me and shows me a book.

"You spend your time for this?" I chuckle.

"It's worth it. Some people may think I spend a lot of time outside my house like partying or anything but the fact I study." She said to me.

"Hey, you have fun facts about Star Wars." I chuckle and read that book.

"Who doesnt love Star Wars?" Jade laughs.

"Wanna know more fun facts about Star Wars?" I raise my eyebrows at her.

"What is that?" Jade raises her eyebrows at me and eat the popcorn.

"My bed sheet is Star Wars." I laugh.

"Can guess that easily." Jade laughs.

"H-how?" I chuckle.

"Like I said before, who doesnt kove Star Wars?" Jade says. "If Jake isnt sleep in the same room with me, he might already have a Transformers sheet maybe." Jade laughs.

"And you with barbie or Frozen." I laugh.

"That is so childish. No. I love The Avengers. I love Iron Man and mine would be Iron Man obviously." Jade laughs.

"Tony Stark huh. Have you hear about Sam's impression about Iron Man?" I chuckle.

"Totally stupid. But it was really funny." Jade chuckles. "Ah we missed the movie." Jade says and points to the tv then turn her face to the tv.

I'm just still looking at her. Everyone perspective about he is totally wrong. I know her. She is rude at the outside but when we know her, there is only one word to describe her. Amazing.

I turn my face back to the tv screen and take popcorn without looking at it until I feel my hand touch another hand. I turn my face and what I hold it's not the popcorn but it's a hand. It's her hand. I push my hand away and pretend like it was only accident. I cant help she is really cute tonight even only with short denim pants and a sweater but still she is.

"Isnt that girl who ever play in FRIENDS as Julie?" Jade asks and points to the tv screen.

"I dont know. I never watch Friends before." I giggle.

"Well, I know her." Jade simply said.

"Who?" I turn my face at her.

"That's Tina! Tina Cohen-Chang!" Jade laughs out.

I'm just laughing and looking at her. I cant help it. I really want to kiss her. Seriously. "You're amazing." I smile at her.

"What?" Jade frowns at me.

"You're really awesome." I'm smiling at her.

She just looking at me and frowns at me. I move my body and facing her then push my face closer to her and kiss her while cupping her cheek. She didnt kiss me back but she let me kiss her until I pull my lips away from her and she just looking at me and I just can built a smile on my face and smile at her. I really like her soft lips.

Jade's POV

It was really wrong to let Ryder spent New Years Eve with me because he kissed me and I cant let go out of that until now. I didnt kiss him back but he was pretty good and the stupid thing is I let him kissed me. Ugh.

Now what else? This week is Sadie Hawkins's dance week where the girls can ask the boys to dance and this is make me crazy. Well, I can go and I dont need to ask someone else to go out with me. Fair enough.

"Hey..." Ryder walks to his locker and smiles at me.

"Hey." I simply said and take book file then shut my locker and walk away.

This is really stupid. And I just realized that I had a good conversation with him that night. And I dont know why. Ugh but the way he stole time and kissed me make me crazy. Ugh Lord.

Ryder's POV

"Dude, did your sister talk about something when you both were together?" I ask Jake as we walk together.

"Like what?" Jake raises his eyebrows at me.

"Like our first date maybe." I shrug. "Look, I really like her and she is different and I promise you if we can be together I dont wanna hurt her." I said to Jake.

"And then? What do you want me to do? She didnt say anything to me. I didnt even know what you both did in my house." Jake says to me.

"I-I kissed her." I said nervously. "It was pretty good, her lips is so soft and I cant handle that because we were talking and laughing and it turns out naturally."

"Okay, you know what dude? Dont tell me about the taste of your kissed and my sister. I dont wanna know about that." Jake simply said. "But did she kiss you back? If she kissed you back, she must likes you."

"No. But she let me kissed her. It was really cool. I mean, we never that close and sharing each other about the things we loved and now she go back to ignore me and it's confused me." I said to Jake.

"Take it slow, man. Chick digs a guy who play it cool and never give up." Jake says to me and walk to the science classroom.

I let out a sigh and hold my ransel then walk enter the science classroom for quick glee club today. I look around and I see Jade is sitting down on a table in the middle row. I walk to sit down next to her and she just a move little bit far from me.

"So this week in Glee Club, it's ladies' choice, inspired by the Sadie Hawkins Dance." Finn grins at us as he wrote 'Ladies Choice' on the white board.

"Which I thought of. It was my idea." Tina raises her hand and grins at us.

"Yes, thank you, Tina." Finn says to Tina. "And every girl will sing to whoever they want to take to the dance." Finn says to us.

"Well, I, for one, love this lesson." Kitty says as she is standing on the door. "I've got a song I want to sing to somebody." Kitty smirks at Jake.

I just half-smiled and turn my face at Jade. I just reallt hope that she want to ask me to that dance and I would be happy to say yes but she just being quiet and didnt wanna talk to me and avoiding me.

The bell rings.

Jade stand up from her seat and walk out from the science classroom. I walk a little bit faster and stop her and smile at her.

"You dont wanna ask me to go Sadie Hawkins dance with you?" I grin at her.

"I dont wanna go." Jade simply said and turn around.

"Why?" I catch her hand and stop her. "Is it because of that kiss? Why are you so upset about that? I'm sorry okay, I'm out of the line. I'm really sorry." I said to her.

"It's okay." Jade simply said and let her head down then walk away.

From the outside she looks strong but from the inside she is fragile. She can get hurt easily or maybe there is must be the thing that she is been afraid of. But I'm not a player. I like her and I really do.

Jade's POV

I'm sitting down on the sofa in living room and holding my pillow. I dont know what to say or what to do. It's really confusing. But I know I shouldnt ignore Ryder like that.

I'm a player and I dont trust guy except Jake. Because I hate about what my dad did to my mom and us. He left us and gone away after he gave mom his sweet tease. Mom works really hard to raise Jake and I and it kills me. And that's why I dont trust guys because I think they're same.

"You think who will ask me to Sadie Hawkins dance?" Jake asks me and sit down on the other sofa.

"Womanizer." I roll my eyes.

"Haha just kidding. I'm just hoping that Marley will ask me that because I will be proud to say yes." Jake says to me.

"Dont tell me that you were trying to convience me to force Marley to ask you for that dance." I said to Jake.

"Well, if you wanna do that, I will say a lot of thanks for that." Jake smirks at me.

"No way." I shake my head.

"Jade, please." Jake begged at me.

"You act so strange after she fainted during sectionals okay and dont blame me if she start go away." I said to Jake.

"What a big deal?" Jake raises his eyebrows at me.

"Jake, you told me that she is different. If you really like her just dont ever give up and show her that you can be a good man. Dont be a jerk who stole a kiss from a girl." I said and stand up from my seat.

"Hold, up, what's wrong?" Jake catches my hand.

"Your friend kissed me." I simply said and walk to my room.

I walk enter my bedroom and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then I walk to my bed and lay my body on the bed and reading my book. This is really stupid seriously.

"Ryder kissed you?" Jake walks into our room.

"I bet he already told you first and stop acting like you didnt know about that." I simply said and cover my whole body with blanket.

"Well, yes he told me. How could you know that?" Jake lay his body next to me.

"I've been watching you." I simply said.

"Are you in period?" Jake asks me.

"Yes so dont try to make me mad." I simply said and still cover my whole body with blanket.

"I'm not trying to make you mad. I just wanna do this." Jake simply said and make a big spoon for me.

"Jake!!!" I groan.

"Ssshhh shut up. Just sleep. Just sleep." Jake simply said.

I exhale and still covering my whole body with blanket. Well, just forget about today and just face tomorrow and brave myself for everything that gonna happen tomorrow.

I walk in the hallways alone wearing my cheerios uniform and my cheerios jacket and my ransel on my back. I'm just walking as I see some jocks are smirk at me and I guess they hope for me to ask them to Sadie Hawkins dance but no. I wont ask anyone else.

"So who will you ask to Sadie Hawkins dance?" Kitty suddenly walks next to me and cross her hand on my elbow.

"Nobody." I simply said.

"Really? Oh come on, Jade look at those boys and they're crazy about you especially since you are the co-captain of cheerios and please thank me later." Kitty smirks at me.

"Well, there is one person that I actually wanna ask actually." I said to her.

"Who's that?" Kitty asks curiously.

"Robert Downey Jr." I smirk at her and walk enter the geography class for the glee club.

"Keep on living in your stupid fantasy, Jade." Kitty rolls her eyes.

"I will." I simply said and place my ransel on a table.

"Alright, girls let's make your choice!" Finn smiles at us.

I'm just smiling and give him a thumb up and nodded at him. Such a right choice to be a better man.

"Will you go to Sadie Hawkins with me?" Brittany asks Sam.

"Thank you." Brittany smiles at Sam as they both start share a kiss.

"Okay, anyone else? We still have 4 girls left." Finn says to us.

Tina already asked Blaine yesterday and they will go together and she just turn her face at Kitty, Sugar, Unique, and I. I'm just shaking my head and cross my hand on my chest. I guess I'm not going to asking anybody.

The bell rings.

I take my ransel and went out from the classroom. It's sucks when glee club isnt back like this. It's like we lost everything here and I lost my appetite.

"Jade, Jade, you sure you dont wanna ask any guy from the glee club?" Marley suddenly walk next to me.

"No, if one of them is Robert Downey Jr. Well I would maybe. But no." I shake my head and chuckle.

"But why? You told me that you spent new years eve with Ryder right?" Marley raises her eyebrows at me.

"Yeah but he blew it." I simply said.

"Because he kissed you?" Marley frowns at me.

"How many person that he told about this?" I frown.

"Look, you convienced me to asked your brother to Sadie Hawkins and now, I convience you to ask Ryder to Sadie Hawkins that. It's a win-win for everyone. Just do that, Jade." Marley says to me.

"Marley, I..."

"I have a class now, I'll see you around. Just think about that." Marley waves me a goodbye and walk away.

I let out a sigh and turn my way to my locker. I dont want to ask anyone to that dance actually. If Sugar and Unique wanna go out alone sure I also wanna do that but I convienced Marley to asked Jake and she really did that. Ugh God.

Ryder's POV

"So what did you get last night?" I ask Jake.

"Heard it alone. She really knows that I'm spying on her." Jake says to me and give me his phone and the headset.

I wear that headset and listening to the conversation that Jake and Jade made last night. Yeah I kinda paid Jake to fished Jade and tell her brother about why she's been avoiding me.

"Wait, what are you both doing on the last?" I frown and give the phone back to Jake.

"Cuddled up...that turned out into wrestling." Jake simply said.

"You cuddle with your sister?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Dude, she is my twin sister. We even already cuddle up since we were in our mom's womb. Besides we shared a room. I even seen her naked like almost every day so like she saw me naked or topless." Jake says to me.

"I dont have any siblings so I didnt know about that." I giggle. "And that's it? She told you to not give up on Marley? So which mean that I dont have give up that easily?"

"Yes. And it's kinda private actually but you got my back and I got your back and you let Marley go for me so I better tell you this. The big reason why Jade become a player and never trust guys because the thing that my dad done. He left us and made our mom work alone really hard then Puck lied to us, at first he was cool out to asked us to go to L.A with him but then he lied to us about everything he went through so Jade never trust any other guy except me. Besides that I know I'm also the one who loves her unconditionally." Jake says as he open his locker.

I'm just being quiet and open my locker. Yeah I know that someone afraid with something because she must be didnt believe in that like Jade never believe in love and guys because she hate that things according to what happened to her parents. But I guess I know how make her wanna ask me to Sadie Hawkins dance.

Jade's POV

"Kitty, you cant ruin that. Jake will go with Marley." I frown at Kitty.

"Well, I dont care with that. I will always try to find my chance, sweetheart." Kitty smirks at me and walk away.

What a b***h. Ugh I dont know what to do to stop her to not being so b***h. I can stop Ryder and pull him away from Marley but Kitty? She is more b***h than me and I guess the only one who can stop her is Jake itself.

Well, why do I care? That's not my relationship. I put my book into my locker and take my ransel and hold that on my back then shut my locker.

"Whoa!" I shocked as I see Ryder is standing next to my locker and wearing a mask with Tony Stark's face. "Ryder, what are you doing? You're freaking me out."

"I eavesdrop your conversation with Kitty and you said that you only wanna ask Tony Stark to Sadie Hawkins dance right? Well, I'm Tony Stark right now." Ryder giggles.

"Nice try." I chuckle. "But no." I shake my head.

"Why? This is not Ryder this is Robert Downey Jr." Ryder says to me.

"You're crazy." I chuckle and shake my head.

"Please ask me to Sadie Hawkins." Ryder says to me.

"You know a blonde girl from my cheerios with bandage on her neck? She is crazy about you and why dont you go with her?" I ask Ryder.

"I dont want to. I want you to be the one who ask me to Sadie Hawkins even I have to beg at you like this." Ryder says to me and shows me his face with his puppy eyes.

"My neighbor fluffy puppy is more cute than you." I simply said then laugh.

"Please ask me to the dance." Ryder grins at me.

I cant handle it and laugh out loud. "Are you drunk at school?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Okay okay ask me to Sadie Hawkins dance please." Ryder begged at me.

"Fine! But wear that mask again because I dont wanna ask you." I said to him.

"Alright." Ryder simply nodded and wear that mask again.

"Okay so Tony Stark would you go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Honor it'd be." Ryder was trying to make an impression.

I cant help it but laugh out loud. Okay I admit it. No one is better than Sam in making imoression even though mostly it sounds stupid.

"Well, keep wearing that mask when we dance on the dance floor this Saturday." I said to him.

"Wait what? I cant show off my face?" Ryder frowns at me and take off that mask.

"If you want to. That's better." I grin at him.

"You're crazy." Ryder simply said.

"You wanna go with me or not? Or I will ask the sophomore rugby captain. He is hot by the way." I simply said.

"Okay I'll do it." Ryder simply said and wear that mask again.

"Just kidding, I'll go with you. With our without that mask." I chuckle and walk away.

I'm starting go back in the hallways and turn around as Ryder just smiling at me and take off that mask then put it into his locker. This is crazy. Really crazy.
