Chapter 12

Glee Club

I'm sitting down on the back row next to Jake. Jake told me that Marley told him the truth and they fighted and dont talk. Well, Ryder just sitting down in the middle row and sometimes he looked at me. I'm just not in the mood right now especially after knowing the truth is finally spoken.

"Girls rule, as usual." Tina says to Mr. Schue.

"And we should win for these sweet glasses alone." Sam hi-five with Ryder.

Ryder turn his face at Jake and I a bit then turn his face back to the front. I'm just half-smiled and cross my hand on my chest.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for the announcement of this year's mash-off winner." Tina grins at us.

"Who of course, will be starring in my senior film project Hollywood Hootenanny, a tribute to dance on film." Artie grins at us.

"And the winner is everyone." Mr. Schue smiles at us.

"What? Why do you always do this? That's insane." Blaine frowns.

"This is a sham." Tina frowns.

"Why don't you just send Maria Shriver in to give us all hugs?" Kitty frowns.

"In reality, what you're saying is, we're all losers." Sugar's sobbing.

"Why did we bother having a competition in the first place?" Ryder asks.

"Calm down, y'all. Calm down. After exhaustive storyboarding and pre production, I realized that I needed a lot of talented bodies to make this film great. So, choosing one winner was just simply impossible." Artie smiles at us.

"That is exactly right." Mr. Schue grins at us. "Uh, Finn, can I talk to you in the hallway for a sec?" Mr. Schue talked to Finn.

"Yeah." Finn stand up from his seat then walk off from the choir room with Mr. Schue.

"Everybody's gonna in it." Artie says to us.

"So, who's the lead? Who's gonna be the lead?" Tina asks curiously.

"There is no lead. There's no lead. Yeah, 'cause there's no point. You guys are awesome together. I mean We're gonna be the leads. Yay! Yay!" The others cheering happily.

Jake and I just being quiet. Poker face. Cross hands on the chest. Didnt say anything. Not even a word. This is stupid. I know but I dont care. Because this is complicated. Like literally complicated.

Just like Ryder, Marley also sometimes take a look at Jake and hoping that he wanna talk to her. Now I guess I know what's on Jake's and my mind. We're hoping for the bell ring so we can get out of here and lock ourselves in our room. I know that. I can read Jake's mind so well since we both are twins even we have tshirt with word 'Womb Mate'.

I look at my watch and it just been five minutes but it feels like five hours with silent and nothing here. Then Ryder and Marley cant stop looking at us. Jake didnt mad, he disappointed. And I also didnt mad but disappointed. Fair enough, right?

The bell rings.

Jake and I take our ransel from our seat then stand up from our seat and walk away from the choir room together. Since we were unborn we already share the joy and happiness together.

Ryder's POV

Jake and Jade stand up from their seat together as the bell rang and then they both walk out from the choir room together. I know that they just sit down on the back row and didnt say anything. Not even a word with their poker face.

"What's wrong with the twins?" Artie frowns at us.

"Why dont you ask Marley and Ryder for that?" Kitty grins at us and walk out from the choir room.

I exhale and take my ransel then walk out from the choir room. Marley must be told Jake about I kissed her and Jade mad at me because she disappointed on me.

We're about to be in a relationship but she knows that and she knows I was lying and that's the best thing about her because she indirectly knows everything about me and I'm really into her. I love her.

The kissed was mistake. I was kinda lost and out of control especially I cant stop blaming myself because I made Jade got mono but I dont have any feeling left for Marley. I've moved on to Jade and I love Jade. That's it.

But I know that this thing is really hard for us and such a complicated one, I guess. But I wont stop to apologize to Jade until I got her back. Yeah.

Jade's POV

"Would you answer that?" Jake asks me.

"No, maybe." I shake my head. "Would you answer that call?"

"No, not in the mood." Jake simply said.

This is weird. Our phones cant stop buzzing. Ryder must be cant stop trying to call me and Marley cant stop trying to call Jake. Meanwhile Jake and I just lay down on our bed next to each other and looking at the ceiling.

I didnt mad at Ryder. I'm just dont know how to built my trust back to him after he didnt tell me the truth. Thank to Kitty who told me about that because I can asked Ryder about that and he admited it.

"Ryder kissed Marley and Marley let him. Why dont they make out in front of our face?" Jake simply said.

"I dont want to see them make out in front of my face." I simply said.

"And you want to see them make out behind us again and admit their fault?" Jake asks me.

"I didnt mad at Ryder. I have no rights for that but it keep stuck in me." I let out a sigh.

"Will Marley leave me?" Jake asks me.

"No, she wont. Jake, Marley really loves you okay. You changed to be a better man for her. You never flirt with those cheerios again for her. And I guess she was trying to appreciate what Ryder did." I said to Jake.

"I'm just afraid." Jake sighs.

"Look, you can mad at Ryder as long as you can but you cant mad at Marley for too long. She was trying to be honest with you." I said to him.

"You also have no rights to mad at Ryder because you arent even his." Jake says to me.

"I know and I guess I will talk to him. Give him a chance." I let out a sigh.

"I will try to talk to Marley." Jake sighs and make aslant backing me.

I let out a sigh and make aslant backing him. I take the blanket and cover my body with the blanket. I take my phone from the side table and looking at my phone there are many texts and missed calls from Ryder.

I miss him. I really want to talk to him. I cant deny it that I really like him. Especially when he brave himself to tell me that he loves me and it feels special and I cant deny it my heart beats so fast.

This week is suck a bad week. This is Feuds week in glee club since Finn admitted that he kissed Ms. Pillsburry and that's the reason why Ms. Pillsburry ran away from the altar and embarassed Mr. Schue.

Jake and Marley already going back to talk to each other and forgiving each other. But Jake is still dont wanna talk to Ryder and still mad at me. Well, I guess that I just need to talk to Ryder about this rough week.

I walk in the hallways and holding my backpack then walk to the McKinley gymnasium. Ryder called me and tell me that there is something that he wanna talk about. And I guess I really need to come here.

"You want to beat me to play basketball again with you? No you cant win." I chuckle at him and enter the gymnasium.

"First of all, I was surprised that you said that you didnt mad at me." Ryder says to me as he is sitting down on the bleachers.

I keep walking and sit down next to him. "Jake and Marley already made up each other. So..." I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Can we make up like that one too?" Ryder raises his eyebrows at me.

"Do you think that we arent fine? We're fine, Ryder." I said to him.

"I just wanna skip the class and stay here and talk with you until we forget the times." Ryder smiles at me.

"How's your day?" I ask him.

"Kind of bad. Wade told me to back off and he called me Poser." Ryder says to me.

"He did?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah. And he protest when I called her dude and he told me that he is proud black woman. Then pushes my shoulder away." Ryder says to me. "I'm just confused, today he is wearing a dress and yesterday he is wearing boys clothes."

"Why dont you battle him on feud assignment this week? Look. I dont get it everyone in glee club is like on the war. And it's like I'm living around world war part three but I dont have any victim and I dont know who should I shoot." I said to him.

"Did I ever tell you that you are the smartest woman that I ever met?" Ryder smiles at me.

"You just did." I giggle. I take my phone from my pocket and start texting Artie. "Okay so, I texted Artie and tell him that we should make a conference this feud." I said to Ryder.

"Like what?" Ryder asks me.

"Like Elthon John with Madonna. Like when he called Madonna stripper then they have long decade feuding." I said to Ryder and stand up from my seat.

"Where are you going?" Ryder raises his eyebrows at me.

"Meet Artie and Wade. And discuss about it. Come on." I said to Ryder and take his hand.

"Did I ever tell you that you are hot and genius at the same time?" Ryder chuckles at me.

"You tease me again, I dont wanna help you." I simply said to him.

"But you wanna be mine right?" Ryder smirks at me.

"Stop it." I giggle and keep walking with him in the hallways.

"Jade, I mean it." Ryder stops our way. "I already told you that I love you and I meant it. You're single and I'm single and you are the most amazing woman that I've ever met. And you told me that you're into me. So what are we waiting for? I'm totally moved on from Marley and it's because of you. You're the only thing I see now. I was wondering I wanna give those valentines gift to you but you werent there and I lost my mind and I was lost." Ryder holds my hands.

"Ryder, I-I..."

"Why?"

"Give me more time to think about it? I'm still trying to fight with my instinct. Please." I half-smiled at him.

"But promise me after that you will say yes?" Ryder grins at me.

"Depends." I grin back at him. "Okay we better go." I said to him and walk lead him.

"I wont give up that easily this time." Ryder simply said.

I'm just chuckle and keep walking in the hallways with him. Yeah I know he wont give up that easily but I'm still fighting with my instinct about this. I dont wanna hurt him because he is special to me.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I dont wanna break our friendship just because of a random kiss okay." I said to Marley. "Besides Ryder told me everything and he said that he loves me." I said to her and shut my locker.

"Then what did you say?" Marley frowns at me.

"I would have to say it back but I'm afraid. I'm still trying to fight with my instinct. I'm afraid that in the end, I'm just gonna dump him." I let out a sigh.

"You are the one who knows your heart. Just follow what your heart said, Jade." Marley says to me.

"You know that this is kinda hard. I dated jerks and Ryder is special and this is first time I'm in love with someone and it feels different." I said to Marley.

"So you ask him to give you time right?" Marley asks me.

"Yes, time to think. It's also hard because Jake is still mad at him but I guess I will try to fix everything first. If it's gonna work out, I will give my answer to him." I said to Marley.

"You can do whatever you want to do. That's your choice." Marley smiles at me.

I'm just smile back at her and keep walking in the hallways and enter the choir room as Ryder and Unique are ready to start their feuds musical.

Ryder just being quiet and standing on the front. I though that by making a feud musical like this will make them stop feuding but I was wrong. It wont make them stop feuding and it's kinda sucks actually.

"And that's what Wade think. You can accept me for the way I am but why dont you accept him for the way he is? Being Unique is the way how he express himself and that what he want to be. Nothing can change it." I said to Ryder.

"And I hate you now." Ryder simply said and cross his hand on his chest.

"Why?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Because you made me more and more in love with you and I hate you because you dont wanna give me a chance to prove it." Ryder simply said without looking at me.

I chuckle and cup his cheeks and make him turn his face at me and kiss him softly while cupping his cheek as he kissing me back.

I walk out from the library and go back walking in the hallways. Yeah maybe Marley is right. It's time to believe and follow what my heart said because she knows what she want.

"You want the librarian kick our butt and caught us having a make out there?" I chuckle.

"Well, we can use the bleachers in gymnasium to make out." Ryder chuckles.

"No, we can use the gymnasium to play basketball and I will se you lose and make a shoot to wrong ring again." I chuckle.

"Yes." I nodded and put my hand on his sweater pocket. "That day when you told me that you kissed Marley, I cried and that was first time I cried because of a guy. I cried because I was jealous but I dont have any rights to mad at you and it confused me. Then when you cant stop called me, I felt guilty because I shouldnt ignore your call. I'm sorry, Ryder but you are special to me." I smile at him.

"And you know what? Now, you have any rights to mad at me if I do another mistake again." Ryder smiles back at me.

"No, I wont mad at you." I shake my head. "But I will kill you. First I will make you cry play basketball with me. Second, I will kick your butt, then I will kill you and make your meat as the delicious food for the mice in the rooftop of my house." I grin at him.

"Sounds yummy for me too. I guess I want to share your meat with them. Oh but I dont want to share your love and your kisses with any other girls." I chuckle.

"I also dont wanna share this b***h with any other guys or those jerks." Ryder smirks at me.

"You cant tease me. I'm not type of a girl who easily get turn down." I chuckle and hold his elbow as we start walking together.

"Yeah I know that. Even it tooks about four months to get you." Ryder simply nodded.

"Well, wanna go back play basketball?" I grin at him.

"You can ask me to do everything you want to do." I smirk at him.

"Like you can make more than one shoot." I chuckle.

Ryder just laugh and keep running in the hallways. I'm laughing and still running to get him. This is the happiest relationship that I ever had I guess. Ryder makes me feel special beside that he is also special.

Ryder's POV

I'm going to apologize to Jake, Marley, and Unique. Jade told me that I have to accept them for the way they are and she is totally right. God, I never know that she is so amazing. She is really into me and I'm in love with her and we are dating now since she is only one who can understand me and I know her from inside and outside.

"You gonna challenge all three of us to a feud now?" Jake asks me as I walk enter the classroom.

"Look, I asked you guys here for a truce." I said to them. "Okay, sometimes I don't know how to fit in here. But kissing you, Marley that was so out of line, and I'm sorry." I turn my face at Marley.

"It's okay." Marley half-smiled at me.

"It's not, but I'll never do it again." I said to Marley. "Look, friendship is about trust. Okay? It's like when we're playing football.

Look, I fumbled the ball this time, but you know I have good hands. I just made a mistake. You know if you give me the ball again, I won't let you down." I said to Jake.

Jake turn his face at Marley and Marley just nodded at him. "Yeah, but it might take a little while." Jake nodded at me.

"I take that. Thank you." I half-smiled at Jake then turn my face at Unique. "Unique Look, I'm not gonna pretend like I understand everything that's going on with you. But you have a truth, and as your friend, I need to support that truth, so you're a girl, dude." I smile at Unique. He just looking at me until he start sobbing. "Holy crap, did I mess that up?" I ask her.

"No, it's just... That day, after we sang I decided to walk home in all my Leslie Uggams glory, and a group of popular girls came after me. I got home before they caught up to me, but I was so scared." Unique says to us.

"I'm walking you home from now on." Marley says to Unique.

"Yeah. Me, too." Jake says to Unique.

"Me, four." Kitty walks in and grins at us.

"Me, five. That bitches need to cut off and no one can hurt you." Jade walks in and smiling at us.

"And P.S, do those bitches go to this school? 'Cause if so, I want their names so I can put Nair in their shampoo bottles." Kitty says to Unique.

"Or mix their shampoo with liquid detergent. I told you it will make your hair more shiny but it will burn your head." Jade simply said.

"That's true." Kitty nodded as agree.

"Wait a minute. We're friends?" Unique asks Kitty.

"Look, I don't know if it's 'cause I've been dating Puckerman, which makes it really hard to judge anyone and I will deny it outside in the real world but, yes. We're friends." Kitty smiles at Unique.

"Yes. We can be partner in crime. Kitty and I do crime many times." Jade grins and hi-five with Kitty.

"You did?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Include we both planning to kick your butt because you called three of them but without both of us." Jade smirks at me.

I'm chuckling and put my hand around her belly as I'm sitting down on a table behind her and she is standing in front of me.

"And we're in this together. I'm a winner, and I want to win Regionals. So we need to cut the crap and the fighting and tighten up so we can win this." Kitty grins at us.

"Friendships are tested like this all the time. And the ones that are real are the ones that pass the test." Marley says to us.

"Artie and Tina and Sam and probably Brittany are all going to be gone next year, and it's going to be up to us to keep up the Glee Club torch. Not just winning competitions, but the legacy of being the only place at this school at any school where the most special thing you can be is yourself." I said to them.

"Think we're up for it?" Marley asks us.

"Are you kidding? This place ain't seen nothing yet." Kitty grins at us.

We cheering at each other and hi-five at each other. I'm just hugging Jade from her behind and kisses her cheek. Because of her I got my perspective and see things from the other side and that's amazing.
