Chapter 2

I'm standing in front of my locker and hold my book file until I see those directors start walking and hold a paper of the Grease audition result. My gaze follow them then I shut my locker and start walking following them.

Finn stick the paper on the board and one by one they looking at it. I turn my face to that result and I built a smile on my face. I look at Jake and right he didnt get the part he want.

Kitty suddenly walk to us and crush Sam almost he fall to the ground and read that paper then turn her face at us and frowns.

"Patty Simcox? Patty Simcox? Who the hell is Patty Simcox?" Kitty frowns at us.

"Well, you never watch Grease? She is blonde, the captain of cheerios, short, and weird just like you. Oh wait, she is also have a Forehead Field." I smirk at Kitty.

"Shut up, Chicken Breast!" Kitty yelled. "I don't understand. I pray really hard about this." Kitty frowns.

"Maybe God didn't hear you because he was busy helping people with cancer." Joe says.

"Shut it, Avatar." Kitty protest. "This is all your fault." Kitty points at Jake. "You screwed up Hand-jive." Kitty says angrily at Jake.

"No, I didn't. We were both great. It just didn't work out." Jake says.

"I've been hearing that a lot lately from you." Kitty simply said and about to walk off but she crush Marley. "Oh. One little thing, honey boo boo. I know a good, hot meal is hard to resist, especially when you're on the free lunch program but remember, the stage always add at least ten pounds. In your case, it's close to 90. So, when you and your mom, strawberry hugryake, are dumpster diving for your costume, keep on picking till you find something slimming. Like a back hefty bag." Kitty glares to Marley and walk away.

"Kitty, you need to take off your hefty bag from your ass." I shout.

The others start chuckles include Marley. Kitty just keep walking in the hallways but raises her hand and shows me her middle finger.

"Come on, just have lunch." I said to Marley and take her hand.

"Thanks for that." Marley half-smiled at me.

"That's fine." I smile at her as we keep walking together. "Besides she doesnt realize that she is fatter than you." I roll my eyes.

Marley just chuckles as we walk together in the hallways to the cafetaria. I turn my face at Jake and smirk at him and give him a sign and he smirk back at me. Yeah I'm gonna make Marley stay away from that Ryder guy and next mission is make Ryder likes me but I dont know how. Well, just think about that later.

I walk in the hallways alone until I see Bobby and Phil suddenly slusheed Ryder with red slushee. And laugh at him. Well, I guess this time is the right time for do my mission.

"Are you okay?" I raise my eyebrows and standing in front of him.

"I dont know what is this. Why they slushee me? I have to get them!" Ryder says and about to walk away.

I roll my eyes and stop him. "Dont. This is a risk when you are officially join the musical with glee club." I said to him. "Come on, I'll help you clean up." I said to him and take his hand and walk lead him.

Ryder's POV

"Dont. This is a risk when you are officially join the musical with glee club. Come on, I'll help you clean up." Jade suddenly takes my hand and walk lead me.

I raise my eyebrows and just walk follow her. She is the b***h who really rude to me yesterday but why she become really nice to me? Well, maybe she got a dream last night and that make her change herself. I dont know.

"Wash your face and your hair here." She said to me and points to the wastavel then turn on the tap. "Come on." She toss my head to that wastavel.

"Ouch!" I groan.

She didnt say anything but help me clean my face and my hair. She is really different with Kitty even though they are mean and love mock each other and also in the cheerios.

I pull out my head from the wastavel as she turn off the tap. She gives me a towel to dry my hair and she clean up my shirt from the slushee.

I just dry my hair and my face until I see a girl walks in and enter the closet. "Wait, you bring me to girls toilet?" I frown at her.

"Then where do you want me to take you? I cant enter boys toilet or they will rape me." Jade simply said.

I'm just chuckle and dry my hair. She hand me the towel she hold then walk out from the girls toilet. I turn my face at my tshirt and it's clean. Well, wow she is not a b***h at all. Like she is different with Kitty. But no, I'm just saying she is nice, in fact, I'm still liking Marley.

I keep holding the towels then went out from girls toilet. I even havent say thanks to her for helping me. I look around but she already gone. Well, maybe I can say thanks tomorrow. I owe her one.

Jade's POV

"It wasnt accident. Bobby and Phil just came to him and slusheed him so I helped him to clean up." I said to Jake.

"You did good." Jake grins at me.

"If I can make you date Marley, you owe me one." I said to him.

"You owe me everyday okay." Jake rolls his eyes.

"No." I shake my head and take a drink from the freezer. "You just defended me everytime those sucks guys mocked me and that's the thing a brother should do."

"Okay then what if he really likes you?" Jake asks me.

"I will dump him like I dump every guy before. Easy." I simply said and drink my drink.

"And he will think that you're a slut." Jake simply said.

"I'm not!" I protest.

"I know okay. I know you so much better than anyone outside there and that's why I'm telling you to stop messing around." Jake says to me.

"Then what you want me to do?" I raise my eyebrows. "I just wanna help you okay. I promise it wont be too far. After you can ask Marley out, I will finish my player thing." I said to Jake.

"I'm just kinda feel pity if you dump him. For him. Not for you. Because you see those guys you dumped always like...." Jake chuckles.

"I promise it wont be too far." I half-smiled with Jake.

"Hey, guys, already have dinner? I'm sorry for working late. I got traffic jam after buying these food stocks." Mom walks to the kitchen and bring grocery bag.

"We just did, mom." I said to her.

"Oh that's great." She smiles at us.

"Mom, you look pale. You're sick?" Jake frowns.

"Just little bit tired because of the traffic jam. I'm fine." Mom smiles at us.

"No, you better take a rest. Jade and I will unpack these things. Just take a rest." Jake says to mom.

"Alright, but if you guys need something wake me up okay." Mom says to us and walk away.

Jake and I just look at each other and half-smiled. Yeah I promise to myself to be a good girl in McKinley and I will make my score with A average for my sophomore year so my mom wont be think so hard or work really hard for us anymore.

I walk enter the auditorium and looking for Tina for the fitting costume since the boys are having rehearsal at Finn's shop and I dont know what they're doing there in the tires shop.

"Tina, I'm here for fitting." I said to Tina while she is fixing Marley's clothes.

"It's over there, just look out the tag with your name on it." Tina says to me. "Okay, hold on and suck in." Tina says to Marley.

"I am. I don't understand. This fit yesterday." Marley says while holding her stomach.

"Maybe it's stress bloating. I get it all the time." Tina sighs.

"Hey. Tina." Brittany and Sugar walk to us with their costume.

"I love it so much. I promise I won't pee in it." Brittany says to Tina.

"What happen with your skirt, Marley?" I ask Marley.

"I dont know. How could I getting fatter that fast?" Marley sighs.

"I'm here for my fitting." Kitty suddenly walks to us. "Where is Harajuku Girl?" Kitty looks around.

"I thought you quit because your part was too small." Sugar says to Kitty.

"Well, Spraed Hawk Nose, to quote Shakespeare, "There's no small parts, only fat actresses." Oh, I'm sorry. Did I just say "fat?" I was distracted by Marley's unfortunate and very noticeable weight gain." Kitty says.

"I swear, I'm not eating any differently.

How is this happening?" Marley exhales.

"I usually don't believe in the lamestream media's definition of "science," but it just makes sense that your metabolism is grinding to a halt. You're getting the body you were destined to have. I had to accept how I am. I spend almost every weekend alone because everyone just assumes that the popular girl's busy. I'm doing this play because I could use some friends. Real ones. So, in the spirit of Grease, I thought it would be good way for us to get to know each other, if we had a sleepover." Kitty grins at us.

"Sleepover?" Tina asks excitedly.

"Tomorrow night, my place. Just us girls." Kitty grins.

"Can I come?" Unique asks.

"I'm not going if Unique's not invited. Please?" Marley says to Kitty.

"Ladyboy can come. Yes. But if I catch you hiding your dinky between your legs and prancing around like Silence of the Lambs, you're out." Kitty glares at Unique. "You're in, Jade?" Kitty smirks at me.

"No. I cant. I have soccer practice until midnight tomorrow." I shake my head.

"I though that coach Sylvester already told you to quit soccer team." Kitty frowns at me.

"Dont try to tease me. I just want to make my mom proud of me so Jake and I wont be transfer to another school every year." I said to Kitty.

"Glee girls, Mr. Schue want to see us in choir room right now." Artie says to us.

"Give us, five minutes to get change." Tina says to Artie.

"Alright." Artie nodded and wheel away.

Sugar, Tina, Marley, Brittany, and Unique walk away and change their clothes. I'm just sitting down on the bench as Kitty start walk away.

The girls are finally ready we then went out from the auditorium and turn our way to the choir room. And I dont have any idea about what Mr. Schuester going to say to us.

We enter the choir room and sit down on our seat as the boys are finally back from the tires shop include Finn.

"All right, guys, listen up. I have an announcement to make." Mr. Schue says to us.

"Adele is dead." Brittany simply said.

"No. I have been asked to join a blue ribbon panel to rewrite the arts curriculum nationwide." Mr. Schue smiles at us.

"Wow! Congratulations." We are applauding and smiling back at him.

"Thank you. I'll be taking a short sabbatical, which means I'm leaving McKinley at the end of the week." Mr. Schue half-smiled at us.

"What? This is crazy." Tina frowns.

"But Glee Club is your life." Artie frowns.

"Which is why this is only temporary. I'll be back right after sectionals." Mr. Schue says to us.

"Wait after sectionals?!" Tina suddenly yelled.

"Guys, guys, calm down. Look, I knew I needed to find a replacement, which is why I brought in Finn Hudson." Mr. Schue says to us and points at Finn.

"Mr. Schue, Finn cannot take over Glee Club. He doesn't know what he's doing at all. Sorry, Finn." Tina protest.

"Guys, I know I can do this. And I've got some really great ideas for sectionals." Finn says to us.

"We'll all be dead by then!" Tina yelled angrily.

"Tina." Artie tries to calm her down.

"Finn doesn't know how to direct a musical!" Brittany protest.

"No, that's fine." Artie protest.

"No, we can't win without him. Who's going to drive the bus?" Sugar yelled.

"Finn Hudson, Schuester. Figgins' office, right now." Coach Sylvester suddenly walks in.

Mr. Schue and Finn just look at each other and exhales. Until they both went out from the choir room. Jake and I just look at eatch other and shrug. Puck told us that Finn is his bestfriend but Jake and I are only the newbies here.

I let out a sigh and walk out from the choir room. I start walking in the hallways until Kitty suddenly walks next to me.

"Look, you should come to the sleepover tomorrow." Kitty grins at me.

"Why should I?" I raise my eyebrows.

"We are a team now. You're mean, I'm mean, you're hot, I'm hot, and I dont mind to friends with a half-jew like you. We are gonna rule this school, sweetheart." Kitty ssys to me.

"What are we gonna do there?" I simply asks.

"We will make a great teamwork together. I know you friended with Marley just because your brother like her right? Not because you truly wanna be her friends. You're a hot mean b***h, Jade. You are young Santana Lopez." Kitty grins at me and walk away.

I'm just standing and shrug and turn my wat to my locker. No, I dont wanna get into trouble anymore. I'm just wanna be a good girl and make my mom proud of me. That's it.

Ryder's POV

I'm walking in the hallways and looking for the glee kids for continue Grease rehearsal. I look around until I see Jade just went out from the choir room alone. Wait, I havent say thanks to her and maybe it's the right time to say thanks about what she did.

But suddenly Kitty start walking next to her and Kitty grins at her. I walk to them slowly and seems like they both are talking about something.

"We are a team now. You're mean, I'm mean, you're hot, I'm hot, and I dont mind to friends with a half-jew like you. We are gonna rule this school, sweetheart." Kitty ssys to her.

"What are we gonna do there?" Jade asks Kitty.

"We will make a great teamwork together. I know you friended with Marley just because your brother like her right? Not because you truly wanna be her friends. You're a hot mean b***h, Jade. You are young Santana Lopez." Kitty smirks at her and walk away.

I hide my body a bit to avoid she caught me that I just eavesdrop their conversation. Jade just shrug then turn her way to her locker and open her locker.

Wait, she didnt deny the things that Kitty been talking about. If she really wanna be friend with Marley she will deny it but she didnt so it means that yesterdat was a fake? She is still a b***h? A mean b***h? Damn I was wrong and why should I say thanks about the things she had done. She probably be the one who told Bobby and Phil to slushee me because I dont see her get one also Kitty besides that I know her brother had crush on Marley. Yeah that make sense.

Jade's POV

Today is the Grease show. I'm standing in front the mirror and looking at myself while wearing a silver dress for the scene with Teen Angel and Sugar.

Suddenly I feel my desire. Ugh I hate this. I wanna go pee. I make a little run from the auditorium and turn my way to the girls toilet and enter an empty closet.

After that I went out from the closet and wash my hand. I turn my face to the closet behind me one closet is closing until I heard someone is crying and trying to vomit.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask and knock the door.

There is no answer but only sounds of crying. I hear it clearly and it's like Marley's voice. She is still crying and trying to vomit. I slam the door and right it's Marley with her costume.

"Marley, what are you doing?!" I yelled at her.

"My mom is town's joke and it sucks because I cant fit into my Sandy's costume day and day." Marley's crying.

"But you hurt yourself, dont do that!" I frown.

"I dont have any choice. You dont understand how sucks to be me." Marley's crying.

"Come here, but make yourself vomit is gross. Dont do that." I pull her hands to stand up and hug her.

"Someone told me to do that. And I dont want to be a town jokes." Marley's sobbing.

"And I know it must be you, who the one to tell her that."

I turn my face and Ryder looks angry and points at me. "Why would I do that?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Because you're a mean bitch." Ryder glares at me.

"No, it's not her." Marley protest.

"What did you tell her? You told her to be a slutty b***h like you? I know you're just fake friended her. Everyone in this school knows that you are a slutty b***h who likes dump every guy and act like the hottest b***h in this school and you did that to an innocent girl like Marley?!" Ryder yelled at me.

"You can call me anything but I'm not a slut!" I yelled at him and walk out from the girls toilet with tears slowly fall down from my face.

Ryder's POV

"Are you okay? What did she said to you?" I ask Marley.

"She told me that I hurt myself and she was right. You was really mean to her. You should go and apologize." Marley says to me.

"Look, I know she is just like another Kitty right. She just fake friended you." I said to Marley.

"She might be mean but I know her since the first time, she always defended me and my mom and she wasnt the one who told me to do that. It was myself." Marley frowns at me.

"I eavesdrop her convo with Kitty and they planned sleepover together to ruin you." I frown at Marley.

"Well, the fact she wasnt there. She had soccer practice. You were so mean to her and you need to apologize. You hurt her." Marley says to me and walk out from the girls toilet.

Then why she joined the cheerios and friended with Kitty? This is confused me. I dont know who should I trust but my heart said that Marley didnt lie to me. God, I'm so stupid. I really stupid.

Jade's POV

I wipe my tears away and go back enter the auditorium and the girls just ended the performance with Teen Angel. I dismissed it because I went to toilet and fight with Ryder.

The words he said to me really hurt me. He can call me anything but I'm not a slut. I even never have s*x. It was really hurt.

"Hey, where have you been? Rizzo in two minutes." Mike says to me.

"Okay." I nodded and take my rizzo costume then change my costume quickly also my Rizzo's wig.

I never been so hurt like this before. I cant believe that he could judge me like that whem he doesnt know about me. I might be rude and mean but I have heart too and I never beat someone before.

I wipe my tears away and fix my make up. Dont show them my tears. I'm gonna make it up. I can do that. I stand up from my seat and walk to the stage as the curtain lifts down.

The curtain suddenly lifts up and the music begin and I'm ready to sing my song.

Jade:

There are worse things I could do

Than go with a boy or two

Even though the neighborhood thinks I'm trashy and no good

I suppose it could be true

But there are worse things I could do

I could flirt with all the guys

Smile at them and bat my eyes

That's the worst thing I could do

I ended up my song with my eyes glacing and the audience give me applause. The curtain lift down and I walk out from the stage and wipe my tears away.

"You okay?" Jake asks me.

"Yeah. I was acting." I giggle.

I wasnt acting. I really sang that song with all of my heart according to what Ryder called me. It's enough for people to judge me from it's cover.

"Damn it." Jake mumbles.

I turn my face and I see Ryder is kissing Marley. I hold Jake's hand and rub his back. I know he must be jealous but he cant do anything since he isnt Marley's boyfriend and Jake totally blew his chance.

"Alright people get ready for the last song." Artie says to us.

We then walk to the stage and get ready for our last performance. I walk passed Ryder and I just give him my poker face. I really hate that guy because he judge me for something that he doesnt know.

The music start begin and we start singing the backup. I just hope that he wont join the glee club so I wont meet him everyday because it sucks besides I guess I will never ever forgive him by judging me like that.
