He was sitting behind a desk, a gun resting casually in his hand, his sharp eyes locked onto Amelia the moment she stepped inside. “Finally,” he drawled, leaning back in his chair. “I was starting to think you’d never show.” Amelia leveled her gun at him, her pulse steady. “You talk too much.” Adrian smirked. “And you kill too easily.” His gaze flickered to Dominic, who had stepped in beside her. “But he’s the real problem, isn’t he?” Dominic’s jaw tightened. “You’re out of time, Adrian.” Adrian let out a slow breath, tapping his fingers against the desk. “You think killing me is going to fix everything?
