Baidford Hospital
"Let's have a look, shall we?" The bright light hurt her eyes "Officer Mason, can you hear me." "Yes, stop screaming." She couldn't help but puke in the nearest container. "I'm sorry Officer Harris but she has a concussion, we will have to monitor her. I'll be here all night, you can post a guard in her room but she's not going anywhere." Theo looked at a very bruised Nia. "Had to play hero-cop, this is what cost you detective in Dan's. Why did you have to do this here?" She was struggling but told him "You have to find them. It's the same man who killed Allison." Doctor Ashbourne came back in with nurses and they were testing Nia's reflexes as well as monitoring her.
Theo posted an Officer at her door. "Don't let anyone come in or out of here except medical personnel." He left for the station where Fyler was waiting. "Make this quick, where is Pippa?" "How many times do I have to tell you people, I DON'T KNOW! We went on our date, she was upset about the whole being dragged here and I can see why do you people even do your job?" "Right now, Pippa is missing. What we are certain of is that she was with you." "Yes, we were on a date at the Rosso we always go there. We simultaneously went to the bathroom and then your Officer nearly dislocated my shoulder."
It took him a moment but he asked "When we called you a few days ago, why did you tell us that you didn't know Pippa?" "What are you talking about, I have not had my phone for weeks now. Someone stole my cellphone, I had reported it to you that same day. It's on record."
Harris left the room and went looking through the system for his name. "Nothing, nothing, there's nothing!!!"
Coaler Warehouse
Patrick took Pippa out of the car, her body still limp. He had been there a few times, the friendly people of Baidford informed him of all warehouses and by friendly people, Dana Dawson.
After Pippa had so rudely dismissed him, he found himself wandering the streets plotting his revenge when he saw a very drunk Dana. He also noticed she didn't live too far from Pippa, he followed her and as she fell on the steps to her house, he saw an opportunity. "Are you okay?" She was drunk and also rude. "Get off of me, don't touch me. I have a boyfriend." He had enough and smacked her, he picked her up and shoved her towards her door. "I have had ENOUGH of the rudeness!" She looked at him and in her drunkenness said "What are you going to do Mister?"
He took this as an opportunity, she was the target he had hoped for but she too was a means to an end. Needless to say, he used her for what he could information and relief of frustration. It didn't bother her that he constantly asked questions about the town but the minute he mentioned Pippa, it enraged her which is why she laid charges against her after a fight she had with Patrick.
This prompted her to go over to Pippa and damage her car, she opened the bonnet looking for the brakes but as she couldn't see it, she got underneath and cut the brakes. She got home and Patrick saw her.
"Where were you?" She rolled her eyes at him and gave him the cold shoulder. "I asked where you were?" She lifted her middle finger which again prompted his rage. When he cornered her "Sorry love, I'm not in the mood for it. Not from you anyway." He could smell it "What did you do?" She smiled and said, "Nothing dear." She confessed to Patrick and they had a heated argument. The house was completely messed up. She took this as another opportunity to blame it on Pippa, she saw Officer Harris and filled out her affidavit claiming Pippa Watts trespassed and caused severe damage to her property after having drinks with her, which resulted in Officer Harris taking his squad car and looking for Pippa to come down to the station. He expected aggressive behaviour and drunk driving which is why he misunderstood her panic and didn't even notice her terror.
Pippa, although groggy, eventually had enough energy to look around. "Don't bother taking in the scenery, there's nowhere to go."
Pippa looked around and struggled with the cable ties he used on her wrists and the metal rope with clamps attached to a rigging machine. "Why are you doing this?" He switched on the small lamp and sat in the metal chair with a glass of whiskey, he had set up whilst she lay unconscious. "You are a very strange woman, you pick horrible friends. It's unfortunate you can't do better, she made everything easy for me but her jealousy got in the way of things. I can't risk some i***t finishing you off, not before I get what I want and what I want is for you to say yes."
She tried pulling and pulling, he slowly walked to the rig and pressed a button, the metal cable attached to the rope pulled and brought her closer and closer. Sliding her body on the cement floor causing her clothing to burn, the friction itself hurting her skin. "STOP!!!" Trying not to cry, she looked at him and stayed still. "Had you just gone out with me, we would not be here. We would have ended up here eventually but not in such a violent way."
In an act of pure fire she spat saying "You are not my type." He walked towards her, knelt down. "Allison said the same thing. Except I was just like your friend Crow, she said I was too poor for her and you thought I was a snob." With darts almost shooting out her eyes, the tears stained her face, "I'm not into men who prowl the night."
He walked away from her and brought his chair and whisky glass closer, sitting down. "Get up… Now, tell me, what should I be like with the next one? What did I do wrong?" She closed her eyes and clenched her jaw. "Why me?" "You became a trophy, the more you say no, the more the challenge, it's like a hunt. It's…" He took a last sip of whisky and a deep breath, spreading his arms out "VICTORY!" She took a moment of defiance. "You didn't win." He placed his arms down, looking in his empty glass. "What makes you say that?" "I still won't say yes to you, I'd rather die." He got up from the chair, turned away from her exhaling "Then die you shall." He turned around quickly and hit her on the head with his glass a few times until it broke and cut his hand.
Baidford Police Station
Several hours had passed by and Carson came in, asking if he could see the Officer who came to his house. "Who are you?" "I'm Carson, Officer Mason told me to bring this over some time ago but I was having trouble with my car, I couldn't get here earlier." He looked at it and saw a broken telephone with small wiring, rummaging through the other contents. "What is all this?" "Pippa's Watts telephone was bugged using this wiretap. I brought the contents over as requested. As well as some other items she already had with her." Officer Harris had a thought, "Carson, you wouldn't happen to know anything about computers? I'm having trouble retrieving a file."
Standing upright, he boldly announced "Officer I do not hack if this is a trick question." "No, I actually need some help." He looked at the Officer and decided he would help as he retrieved the requested file, Officer Harris went through the content of the box and Nia's notes. "Pippa Watts was drugged by a suspect named Patrick Kaur in early July. Patrick possibly poses as cleaner at Watts residence for Pippa's Aunt Alexandra. The camera was found in a small porcelain dove using corporate gifting as a cover, the company doesn't cater to private citizens, suspect is a possible employee working there, key copy ascertained illegally using Donald Beaumont. Suspect possibly stalking Fyler Crow. Serial killer causing the victim to come across as having Crying Wolf Syndrome." And he saw a picture that Nia drew highlighting his description: blue eyes, blonde hair, curly hair. Officer Harris went through everything thoroughly before hearing Carson say "Here, is this what you are looking for?" "Yes, thank you."
With all the information they went back into the room where they were holding Fyler, had him released immediately and requested a track on Fyler's cell phone. Its location pinged Dana's address which is about an hour's drive away from the station. Harris couldn't figure out what Dana had anything to do with this. He went over with a few Officers. "Miss Dawson, open the door! This is the police." They had no choice but to kick the door down and they found her lying face down covered in blood.
"This is Officer Harris, code 1 at 51 Sherry Lane." "Copy that, the ambulance has been notified and is on the way." Harris looked around and found keys, a cell phone and it all came flooding back as he kept hearing the words Nia spoke to him at the hospital. At first he thought the concussion drudge up old memories but the more he looked around, shards of glass, a clear struggle he remembered "You have to find them. It's the same man who killed Allison."
He took out his cellphone and looked for abandoned buildings. He set up a few teams to go in search of the places that had popped up and sent a few more people to watch Officer Mason. There were teams sent to the warehouses going on Patrick's prior location with Allison, he took most of the officers to Coalers Warehouse.

Crime Scene in Dan
Nia was too sick to look at the body they found at the abandoned warehouse. He looked under the sheet and saw her. Scratch marks, bruising, head injury, her eyes were open and she died of asphyxiation, the rope was left around her neck.
He remembered Allison telling him and she sat on the table rocking her feet back and forth. "I've met someone, he is really handsome. Quite smart and dresses like he is straight out of a GQ magazine but there's this weird creep following us everywhere. I can't see him but I know he is watching me." She brushed back her long brown hair. "You should be focusing on your studies Allison. You know your sister won't be happy about this and stop watching horror movies." He exclaimed whilst cutting the onions. "My sister also thought you'd eventually ask her out but you never did." She hopped off the table and helped him make a pizza.
All those memories, she was just like Pippa on the night as she walked home from the library. She walked over to Officer Harris's car. "I think someone is following me." He and his partner looked around. "You think? Can't arrest someone based on a thought and there's nobody out here this time of night." Pippa said desperately. "Would you prefer my corpse?"
Each team made it to their location but each one reported back nothing. He took his time, ignored everything and quieted his thoughts, remembering where they found Allison. "Officer, we found her body inside the building, we will have to get the coroner, who knows how long she's been there."
He opened his eyes and used his walkman informing the other officers "Go inside the warehouse, anything remotely close to a rope or pulley system." A sound of relief came over Harris as he heard an Officer yell out "OVER HERE!!!" He went running as fast as he could. "She's unconscious but alive." He looked around knowing that Patrick wouldn't be far, searching and listening closely despite the commotion. He got up and walked out of the building to concentrate. There must be something, too many footprints so he couldn't make it out. It was badly lit but there, an unfamiliar shadow running away from all the commotion "FREEZE!"
Patrick tried getting away, running into the distance but Officer Harris opened fire and shot Patrick. The body fell down and the other Officers made their way along with Officer Harris towards the body. He watched Patrick choking, struggling to breathe "Took you only two years." Patrick struggled some more and Officer Harris knelt down to whisper "It was worth having to watch life fade from your eyes." Patrick died there that night and Pippa was rushed to the hospital. It was finally over.
A few weeks had gone by and Nia came to visit Pippa in the hospital, Harris tagged along with some flowers. Pippa smiled and asked. "Who are these for?" Officer Harris placed them down in a vase and took one out for Nia. "Nia and I are going to be out of town for a while." Pippa smiled even though it hurt. "It's about time you two got together." They looked at each other just knowing, a few moments later Flyer came into the room with a police bear and said "There was only this one left." He had a slight fright when he saw the officers sitting there. "Don't worry, we won't arrest you." "Speak for yourself, I don't know if he did anything wrong." Nia laughed whilst saying, they both got up and left, together.
