Knock… Knock… Knock "Kids I told you, you have to head on over to the Braddoff house." Mister Beaufort came hollering thinking it was his children. "You are not my kids." "No, I'm Officer Mason. Mind if I ask you a few questions?" "Shoot… Ah pardon the pun." "A friend of mine needed spares. Perhaps you know her, Pippa Watts?" "Again?" "What do you mean again?" "She lost her set and needed a replacement a month ago." "I wasn't aware she had them replaced." "No, she sent a friend." He was snapping his fingers rummaging through documents "Here we go, Fyler Crow. Strange name, strange guy. He had a cap and wore tinted glasses. He looked rather stupid to me." She nodded her head. "Thank you so much but I meant having Pippa's locks changed. She's losing so much that perhaps a bigger more regal key might do." "I can get that done today, no problem." Mister Beaumont was ever helpful but also interested in gossip. "Let me pay for it." "It's on the house." She smiled "... Punny… I am sorry for taking up your time but I must go, I have a few more stops." Officer Mason had a feeling tugging at her but uncertain at the time, she made her way to Carson. Knocking frantically on his door "This is Officer Mason please open up." Carson ran to the door barely dressed, just his shorts and slippers with a toothbrush in his mouth. "Can I help you Officer, what's the urgency?" She immediately asked "What was wrong with Pippa's phone?" He seemed confused mouth full of foam, he opened the door and told her to come in. He finished in the bathroom, wiping his mouth when he came out. "Let me get something for you." Carson had rugged good looks and boyish charm. If you took the time to notice with his 5 o'clock shadow, Mister fixed it although Nia wasn't thinking along those lines. "I wasn't sure at first but her phone had this static, constantly even when we changed it for the new line. She mentioned something about the main switch and I went outside only to confirm this." "What is this?" "This is used to monitor calls, it's a gsm spy bug but when used incorrectly it causes interference like static sometimes you can receive other people's calls." "I have to go. I'm going to give you a few things to take to the station asap." She ran out of Carson's house and drove down to Pippa's. "Where are you going?" Carson just watched as she got into her car and sped off In all her mental chaos, she left her car door open and keys on the seat. She frantically knocks "Hold your horses, I'm coming." The very sound of Alexandra gave Nia some peace knowing they had not left yet. "Oh Officer, how may I help you?" "I need to talk to Pippa." "She left ages ago with some young tomcats." "Did she say where they were headed?" Dimitri came to the door and informed Nia "I gave them our reservation at Rosso, table 7 it was a gift so I gifted it. Also, a Mister Beaumont came by and changed the lock. Make sure Pippa gets this spare?" Not a moment was lost, Nia ran back to the car but the door locked her out, she had to break her window and get in. She drove all the way to Rosso, frantically. She called it in, on her radio "This is Officer Mason, possible 214 in progress at Rosso. I repeat, a 214 at Rosso." Speeding through, the siren going off and finally screeching tyres. When she got to the restaurant she yelled out "Dov'è Pippa Watts?" Ennio saw how frantic Nia was "Va tutto bene, Michal ha fatto di nuovo qualcosa?" She implored him "Dov'è Pippa, è in pericolo!" Ennio helped her into the restaurant, visible chaos and commotion. She held out her gun, pointed it toward Fyler as he came out of the bathroom. "Put your hands up!" He was visibly confused and frightened "I'm sorry but what is going on?" "Turn around slowly and place your hands behind your back." He did as the officer said. "Do you have anything on your person that might injure or harm anyone." Stammering for words all he could say was "Just my wallet." "Where is Pippa?" "She headed to the ladies room, we went in together and normally we would come out together, she should be in there." She proceeded to mirandize him but asked Ennio to keep him in a private sector of the restaurant as she went looking for Pippa. She couldn't find her, the rest of the police showed up and shook most of the guests up. Ennio tried calming everyone, they took Fyler out the back where nobody could see him, they couldn't find Pippa anywhere. Officer Mason went to her car in complete frustration with the wind blowing through her broken window. They all went down to the station to question Fyler but as Nia got out of the parking lot, all she saw was darkness before waking up to the assistance of Doctor Ashbourne. The City of Baidford has a few warehouses, some fully functional, some semi functional and only one of them barely ever used. The hangar for the crops plane or should a fire break out. The shoe manufacturer closed down as they chose to import goods, there was the papermill and also a furniture warehouse but it burned down and is completely shut from any trespasses. Coaler Warehouse, an abandoned building a little out of town that was turned into a junkyard that does car compression. It's semi functional but as Baidford is a small town, it's rarely used and nobody is there, they wouldn't be the wiser even when others are on the property. It's vast and dark with little to no light, scraps and rubbish everywhere. Patrick drove Pippa there, she was unconscious. He followed her into the bathroom and used chloroform, he managed to get her out just before the commotion started. He took her limp body to his car and stayed in the parking lot, waiting and watching Officer Mason. It wasn't too long when he saw her come out, she was in complete frustration slamming her hands over her car. She hadn't caught on just yet that he was using her, he stole her key card from the car which he would use soon enough. He collected souvenirs from each of his victims and their families, as her sister was one of them, he took her identity along with a few other items. He quite enjoyed it. It would be the second win he had over her. He sat there with his blue cap on and glasses just waiting for her to drive off. He parked his car a little further than the station and walked to the parking lot. He knew her parking spot, as he got in, he went running towards her and hit her with a fire extinguisher over the head. She fell down, unconscious. He would have finished the job but he heard tires screeching, lights slightly dipped but on the way. He ran off, unseen.
