Well my life feels like shit... Again.
"Go then since your all f*****g grown, you don't need me any more right! As soon as you got the chance to leave your own family you took it without any f*****g hesitation, you didn't even care how I felt about it! You selfish f*****g basterd!"Those were the last words I had exchanged with my mother before I left for College. Most parents are bursting with excitement when sending there kids off to college. Not my mine thought, I've been working since the age of fifteen to help financially support my mom and little brother. My mom knew if I left so did that second income.
But it wasn't fair, it never was but now I had the chance to start a fresh, to go somewhere where nobody knows Connor Linwood, where I finally got to be who I am with no restrictions.
And I just couldn't give it up.
I didn't say much to my mom when I left, as if it would have made a difference she hated the idea of having to pick up another job just to keep the lights on, but I also knew that seeing her first born son leave hurt her just a bit. All I could think about as I was leaving was if my brother was gonna be alright. We were extremely close so I thought he might miss me for a while.
So there I was carrying dozens of boxes in front of my dorm room door, I did it... l was about to enter my own space in the one and only ,Serenity's International College.
I had specifically requested not to have a roommate with the intent of fully enjoying my own personal space.
"Well you've done it Connor, you finally did it"
I unlocked the door and practically threw myself inside, but it seemed as if someone had already been in there. The whole living room wreaked of cheap cigarettes, the wooden floor could barely be seen because of the many boxes that covered it.
"What.The.Fuck"l muttered shuffling around them. While entering I must have alerted the 'current resident' of MY DORM, because not long after I had closed the door behind me I heard a husky fried voice coming from the left room.
"Hey who's there."
"Umm I'm Connor and I think this is my place?"
From the room you could hear somebody stumbling around, and the door of the room bursts open...
"Yohhh what's up dude sorry for the disaster over here, totally forgot about the roommate thing."
"Roommates!?"
"Yep oh the names Demian by the way."
"... Great."
I should have known, good things never last very long with me this type of s**t is the norm I guess.
"And I'll have this junk out your way ASAP, don't worry about it."
"Great."
