Sitting at the council meeting, I couldn't help but take my thoughts off of Carla and what Leonardo said to me yesterday. How could he even think that an innocent girl such as herself could be there to cause any harm? No, absolutely not. Yes, she was obviously causing harm to my mind because she was driving me in f*****g sane but she was so tiny, it would be impossible to even remotely think that she could be there to cause any harm.
"Xavier?" Xander's voice immediately drew me back to reality. s**t! All of the men were looking at me like I was an i***t.
"Yeah? Sorry about that" I said, in an attempt to act as if nothing had just happened.
