AFEEFA'S POV:
"Excuse me Ma'am" i heard a faint voice
"Ma'am" the same voice called out again
"Ma'am" I felt someone tap me this time. I slowly opened my eyes as I saw a young lady standing beside me.
"Huh?" I asked her
"Ma'am, I said would you like to take anything?"
She asked and smiled gracefully
"Yes please" I answered, my voice still croaky. "I'll just have a cup of tea please" I added after i cleared my voice.
"Okay ma'am" she said.
"Thank you" i said as she walked away.
Some minutes later the lady came back with a cup of coffee and a bottled water with a disposable cup on a tray
"Here you go ma'am" she gave me and smiled
"Thank you" I smiled back
"But i didn't ask for water" I added
"Oh yes ma'am. I know. It's just that it is an always free complement for everyone" she said
"OK. Thank you" I said and she walked away
I drank up the whole thing in a matter of minutes. It was so good that I wanted a refill.
I pressed the little button on top and in no time the same attendant was back again.
"Can I please have a refill?" I asked her. She giggled and then nodded her head "OK ma'am" she said.
In matter of minutes she came back with another cup.
"thanks" I said to her as I collected it from her.
"I just couldn't help myself. It was so good" I added after taking a sip.
"I understand" she said and giggled. "I am also addicted to it, but in a good way" she added and I laughed.
"you are funny" I commented
"thanks. they don't call me Chloe for nothing" she said and flicked her hair dramatically and I laughed
"nice name" I commented again
"thank you" she said again
"I'm Afeefa by the way" I said
"wow, I love your name"
"thanks"
"It means modest right?" she asked and I nodded as I took another sip of my now almost cold tea
"well. it was nice talking to you Afeefa. I have to get back to work now" she said and smiled
"it was nice talking to you too Chloe. Alright bye" I replied "hope to see you soon" I added
"me too" she said and walked away
soon after Chloe left. I felt bored again, so I decided to log into w*****d offline I have read a lot of books so far and I am a beginner. I can't even count. I am currently reading AGAINST MY WISH. the story is just epic! I wish I could write the way 'phareeydah_' does.
i was deep into the story when I heard the copilot saying "please buckle up your seat belt because we are landing in 5 minutes"
I buckled seat belt and kept on reading. Muhammad and Phareeydah were such cute couples but Mujaheed is nice too. i just don't know who to choose. i was currently in chapter 26. and i really hope Farida chooses Mujaheed. i couldn't resist the urge to keep reading, the story is so addictive
I was about to go to the next chapter when I heard an air hostess said "Welcome to Egypt Alexandria, the Arab Republic of Egypt"
Then the copilot said
"Welcome to Egypt Alexandria Airport. Local time is 3:59.amd the temperature is 28°.
On behalf of Egypt Airlines and the entire crew. I'd like to thank you for joining us in the trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice evening" the copilot said as people started moving around dragging their bags and going down.
I waited for the crowd to reduce a little before I stood up and made my way to the door
"Afeefa!" I hears someone call my name. I turned around and saw Chloe making her way towards me
"Yeah" I said more of a question
Out if the blues she gave me a bone crushing hug
"Whats this for?" I asked.
"For making my day" she said and I returned the hug.
"You're welcome" I said still confused a bit and she broke the hug.
"You live here?" She asked
"Used to" I simply replied
"Used to?" She said as she c****d her eyebrow
"Yeah, I have not been here in ages" I replied
"Oh. I see" she said
"Are you going to be here for long?" I asked her.
"No. I would be leaving in an hour" she said
"Oh,I would've loved for you to stayed a bit longer" i said
"Me too" she said all sad
"But i live here tho" she said
"Well. Since i am here a bit longer. Cuz I will be schooling here. Maybe we'll meet up sometime"
"Yeah on. I would definitely find time to visit if I am here." She said.
"Bye" i said to her as I gave her a quick hug
"Bye" she said and I left.
That girl is the sweetest girl I have ever came across. I felt a bit relieved to talk to her. She us really a great person and lively too. Just as I reached the gate, I remembered that we didn't exchange contact,
Oh well! Maybe we will meet someday Insha'allah. I shrugged and went into the gate, Oh how I miss this place
I decided to call Leila
"Hello Leila where are you?" I asked
"Who's this?" She asked confused
I mentally face palmed myself. I totally forgot to tell her that i have a new number
"Its Afeefa" I replied
"Oh. Where are you?"
"At the gate"
"OK. Well I'm at the waiting area right now. I'll meet you there." She said and hung up
I waited for almost 10 minuted and she wasn't here. "Where's this girl?" I murmured to myself
"Surprise!!!" I heard a voice behind me and my whole body shook
"Ya Allah!" I said as I turned around. I saw Leila
"What was that!?" I said almost shouting
"Nothing. Just wanted to surprise my BC" she said and me a bone crushing hug.
"You came alone" I asked with wide eyed
"Yeah" she said in a duh tone.
"Where's the driver?" I asked again
"You're looking at her" she said
"Don't tell me.......seriously?" I asked all excited
I can't believe she gets to drive a car
"Yeah. Seriously" she said as if it was no big deal
"Since when?"
"Since last month"
"OMG! I am so happy for you!" I squealed as I jumped on her.
