One Love

Prologue  Misa  I say good night to Clover as I continue walking to my apartment. Weirdly enough, Mr. Andrews isn't at his desk, as usual, I don't even see his wife gossiping with tenants either. I brush it off as them going to bed early after all they are an old couple and it's a quarter past 10. Making my way to my door after stepping off the elevator, I have a strange feeling. Like something big is about to happen.  I rush it off and unlocked my apartment door. My eyes immediately find the mesmerizing brown I had fallen in love with as he leans against the kitchen counter, only the moon illuminating his gorgeous face. His eyes soak in my interbody lingering on my swelled stomach and breast.    "You thought that I wouldn't find you? Or were you hoping I wouldn't look just because you asked in your letter?"  I remain silent knowing he's being rhetorical, I knew it was pointless to ask him not to search for me because I knew he would. Truthfully a small part of me hoped he would've woken up that night and stopped me, but that couldn't be. They threatened my love and my baby  Within seconds I pinned to the door with his hands moving from my waist to cup my belly, "I told you once that once I had you I wasn't letting go. And I always keep my promises, love, don't I?" He whispers planting kisses up my neck and jaw before landing his soft lips on mine causing my mind to go numb as I give in.  “Did you really think I was going to let you leave and lose you? Lose our child?” he growled against my lips, I should have told him but I couldn’t. “I’m taking you home,”  My eyes flew open in seconds, I can’t go back. They’ll kill him, my family, my baby.  They’ll kill everyone I care about.  “No! Keon I can’t leave!! Please!!”  “Give me one reason why,” I look at everything in the room but him, “Come on baby, since when can’t you tell me anything,”  “I’m sorry but I can’t, I wish I could but-”  “But what princess, please tell me.” I turned my head.  He sighed, “If you can’t tell me, then there’s nothing stopping me from bringing you home  It was pointless to resist him, Keon has both my heart and mind in his hand. I sold myself to the devil.     And I love him...
