I churn the same thoughts over and over again on my ride to the hospital, but as soon as I’m there, I’m met with utter and complete chaos. There seemed to have been a shooting somewhere around the town and some of the victims were brought here with serious injuries. I’m not even inside when one of the stretchers is pushed right past me. “Lennix!” I hear a familiar voice and I turn around to come face to face with my supervising surgeon. “You’re on surgery with me today.
