Mellione’s POV Despite the eagerness that wrapped itself around us that night, we did not manage to spend it together. We have barely made it to the bedroom, when Seth’s phone began to ring and he seemed to get all tense and ready to explode like a ticking bomb. It didn’t take a genius to understand something was not right and that this was urgent, so I did not protest when he flew out the house, leaving me all alone. That night, I didn’t get much sleep. I managed to unpack most of my things and get accustomed with the place before going to sleep. A handful of days passed, and at this point I was growing uneasy.
