"Zoe, don't give up. Stand up, you can do it!" The audience screamed wildly.
Scarlett stood up against the cage. She felt uncomfortable in her chest. Nausea became stronger and her head felt dizzier. She couldn’t even see things.
Scarlett leaned back against the fence, wiped the blood from the corners of her mouth, and smiled casually, "I won't give up."
She slowly raised her right hand and extended a finger. Before she said anything, the audience roared excitedly, "Final blow!!"
Scarlett bent down slowly with hands on her sides, and whispered, "Coming!"
Mike narrowed his eyes. Something seemed to flash across his mind, but he couldn't catch it.
"Awesome!"
Brian couldn't help applauding when Scarlett rushed towards Rossie like an arrow.
Mike took a sip of coffee casually, "That's all she's got."
As expected, the moment Scarlett kicked Rossie, Rossie grabbed her arm and pressed her against the iron fence facing the audience.
Mike glanced at Rex lightly, and his pride was self-evident.
Scarlett felt very dizzy. She could only see a blur of colorful lights flashing in the dark auditorium, and a humming sound replaced the deafening roar.
She was certain that she had been drugged and her eyelids felt so heavy.
She struggled hard, and her metal mask rubbed against the iron fence. Rossie said straightforwardly, "If you give up, I will let go."
"I won't give up." Scarlett gritted her teeth, and her restrained right shoulder slammed hard.
There was a crackling sound, and her restrained arm drooped weakly. She screamed in pain while she turned around and grabbed the back of Rossie's neck with her left hand. Rossie immediately fell to the ground.
Scarlett said coldly, "Just give up."
His spine was broken and he was paralyzed.
Rossie was in a cold sweat but still wanted to get up.
Suddenly, the octagonal iron cage slowly stretched out, and the host quickly rushed to Scarlett's side. He grabbed Scarlett’s hand on Rossie's spine and shouted, "The final champion Zoe!"
The audience roared, and flowers, watches, jewelry, and dolls were thrown into the octagonal arena.
Scarlett stumbled out of the arena, ignoring her dislocated arm. She rushed into the bathroom and vomited wildly.
When strong nausea in her chest subsided, she leaned against the vanity, gritted her teeth, and attached her dislocated arm. Then she staggered out of the bathroom, and walked slowly down the long, dark passage, totally unaware that there was a thoughtful gaze behind her.
When Scarlett walked out the back door of Noble Club, it was already dark.
"Zoe, I finally see you." A tall and thin young man dressed in luxury suddenly showed up and walked toward Scarlett excitedly, "Zoe, my name is Byron Acton and I am your fan. I’ve watched every one of your games."
Scarlett looked at him blankly, "Thanks."
"Zoe, marry me." Byron suddenly took out a diamond ring and handed it to Scarlett, approaching her eagerly, "Since the first time I saw you a year ago, I’ve wanted to marry you. Zoe, marry Me. No more suffering, no more punching. Let me support you."
"You wanted to marry me a year ago. You’ve watched my games for a year. Would you like me to punch you right now?" Scarlett sneered, took a step forward, and asked, "What? Do you want to marry a girl who will punch you at home?"
"Zoe, I'm serious. Over the past year, I've been trying to convince my dad to allow me to marry you." Byron rubbed his face excitedly, and stretched out his hand to her vulgarly and eagerly, "Zoe, please marry me."
Scarlett grabbed his hand, twisted his wrist, and shouted coldly, "Get out!"
However, the moment when the man fell, four or five men in black immediately rushed into the surrounding corners with iron rods in their hands. They charged toward her aggressively.
"Wait, wait." Byron stopped them with his head tilted under the streetlights, "I'll give you one last chance."
"No thanks!" Scarlett turned and ran away. Someone chuckled in the dark, but she didn't know whether it was an enemy or a friend.
She would have fought them to vent her anger in the past, but now she was tired, sore, and sleepy. She had no physical strength to fight again.
The back door of Noble Club was a "VIP aisle" that Rex gave her so that she wouldn't be harassed by fans at the front door. She had always found it very quiet and convenient, but now she ran all the way and no one came out to help.
In the darkness, a wooden stick hit her on the back, and she stumbled to the ground. The sound of footsteps approached her quickly.
A black Ferrari stopped abruptly, and the door opened, just blocking the alley. There came a deep voice, "Get in the car."
"Catch her and beat her up," Byron said in the darkness.
Against the backlight of the alley, Scarlett couldn't see the car owner's face at all. However, as the footsteps behind her got closer, she gritted her teeth, got up, and jumped into the sports car.
"Zoe, you're mine. You're mine." Byron's voice drifted in from the open window.
Scarlett let out a long breath and turned to look at the driver, "Thank you. Just stop at the intersection ahead... Oh, it’s you."
She recognized the man standing at the safety exit, and it was Rossie's companion.
Scarlett rubbed her forehead with a headache, "Are you trying to avenge Rossie?"
Mike didn't even look at her, and said indifferently, "If he didn’t cut you some slack, you’d be dead now."
Yes, if Rossie didn't wait for her to admit defeat and hit her directly without giving her a chance to breathe, she would have died long ago.
Scarlett turned to look at him and said, "So?"
The man didn't say a word anymore, and the car was going faster and faster while it swiftly passed through the crowded traffic. Scarlett felt sick because he drove too fast.
"Stop, I'm getting out of the car." Scarlett tapped the door, "Believe it or not, I'm jumping."
"Go ahead!" The car continued to drive along with the traffic at a high speed, "If you get off, the mortality rate is 99%, and you won't get any compensation after your death."
Well, she didn't want to die.
She released her grip on the door and looked at him helplessly, "What do you want to do?"
"What are you doing? Let go!"
The black Ferrari stopped in front of a huge manor. Before she could get out of the car, he grabbed her hand and dragged her directly out of the car. After being dragged out to the steps. Scarlett growled, "You're hurting me."
"Hurting you?" Mike threw her into the hall and sneered at her, "A girl who broke her hand is afraid of pain?"
