ABANDONED HOSPITAL

The story begins when it was midnight with a full moon where everyone was asleep, except for these two mere human, Smith and Edna. They knew each other since they were little, since their mother was best friend before they even existed, thus it's not weird for them to become best friend too. In the morning, before they start their daily routine, they were texting each other for tonight's plan where they setting for the right time to sneak out. For best friend to sneak out is kind of awkward to hear, but there's a reason on why they sneaking out. On that night, they meet up at the park nearby their house. It was a routine to hang out every night, but starting this night, they want to make this routine a bit different. At first, hanging out every night was just a normal routine created out of boredom, and they would talk about how their day goes by. But tonight is the first night where they plan to do something different with their routine when Smith happened to learned about the abandoned hospital last week and Smith asked Edna this morning if she like to check out the abandoned hospital together. At first, Edna was reluctant but after Smith convinced her that nothing bad is going to happen, she slowly replied, "Alright Smith, let's go. Buit, don't forget your word!" The scary, dangerous and cursed journey is yet to start. And here they are, standing right in front of the hospital gate, freeze for awhile and take a deep, long breath before they enter the yard. The hospital landscapes are all ruined and dirty like it has been abandoned for ages. Edna ask, "Smith, how long has this hospital been abandoned? It looks horrible on the outside, not to mention how it's going to look like on the inside." "As from what I heard from my football teammates last week, it's not that long, just a few years ago, didn't pass a decade yet. I don't know why it looks so horrible too", answer Smith as they both walk slowly towards the main entrance door. Suddenly, Edna stops. "What's wrong, Edna? Anything bothers you?" ask Smith. "Urm, did you see anything on the inside?" Edna asks Smith as she looks to him to receive a head shake. "No, I don't. Why?" "I'm scared. Let's not go inside for tonight. We have more nights to discover this place slowly, right?" Edna says with a slow tone. Smith just nods. He never thought that Edna would be damn scared like this. As far as he concern, Edna is not a person who easily get scared, so he might think maybe there's something about this place that Edna could feel but he can't. He intends to ask Edna soon when she feels better and defintely not right now as it might kill the mood. "So how about we go to the backyard? Maybe there's something interesting we could find there!" Smith starts to walk through the bushes with one of his hands holding Edna's arm and she says, "Yeah, maybe we could also uncover the stories that lies here, right Smith?" "True, what is it called? Ghost buster?" Smith says and with a chuckle, Edna replies, "No! Not a ghost buster. It is something called like mystery debtor, or something like that. But it's definitely not a ghost buster. I'm not here to hunt ghosts, just so I could remind you again, Smith." Both of them laughing so hard and suddenly they heard a noise near them. It sounds like something big and heavy falls from the high. Even they are feeling nervous, they still go looking for something they thought falls at the backyard. The backyard is kind of huge too and it was not too messed up as in the front yard. It most likely to be empty and there's only bushes here and there and they decide to split up and look through the bushes hoping to find something out of it. 'Tit! Tit! Tit!' Both of them shock. "What was that?!" asks Smith. "Oh, it was my watch alarm. It's 1am already! No wonder, let's head back." Edna walks towards Smith. "Why did you set an alarm on 1am?" "It's actually an alarm I set for the other night when I was doing homework. It's just to remind to sleep." Edna explains. "So you're really stayed up late that night? Why didn't you call me? I could come over to your house for a sleepover." "You were grounded that day, don't you remember? For stealing my father's car vacuum." She rolls her eyes. "Oh yeah, I'm sorry about that.
