My heart was beating loudly in my chest almost like thunder as I took each step. With every move I made it felt like I was revisiting memories from the past.
Some of those memories felt comforting and familiar while others seemed strangely unfamiliar and a bit unsettling.
As I walked into the beautiful gardens I noticed the bright and lively colors of the flowers around me. They seemed to tease or challenge the intense feelings that were stirring and bubbling up within me almost like a storm waiting to happen.
Standing next to me was Talon whose presence brought me both a sense of comfort and a feeling of intrusion. It reminded me of everything that had happened in the past and made me think about what could have been if things had gone differently.
The air between us felt heavy
