the Rebirth
Chapter 1: Rebirth
The stench of burnt rubber was still in Aria’s nose when she opened her eyes. Not a hospital. Not heaven. Her bedroom. June 3rd. Three years before Keith and Chloe started dating secretly. Three years before they killed her.
The crash happened on September 11th. In her last life, Keith stole Aurelia Ventures and gifted it to Chloe for her birthday. Then he stood there, phone out, recording while Aria burned in the car they sabotaged. The brakes had been cut. The doors locked from the outside. She remembered the heat. The sound of her own screaming. The last thing she saw was Keith’s face through the flames, mouthing _“Sorry, babe. Business.”_
This time, she’d make him choke on that word.
She sat up. No scars. No burns. Her hands didn’t shake. Her phone said 6:03 AM. Her bank account said ₦2.4 billion. Her mother was alive. The company was hers. And Keith Morgan? He was still just a nobody analyst sending her LinkedIn requests.
Last life, she trusted him with Aurelia Ventures. He repaid her by signing it over to Chloe, then watching her die. Never again.
This time, Keith knew nothing. Not that she owned Aurelia. Not that she was CEO. To the world, Aria Stone was just a new manager. A ghost. That was safer. That was smarter.
She got out of bed and walked to the mirror. Same face. Same eyes. But they were colder now.
“September 11th,” she told her reflection. “100 days. I’m coming for everything.”
