"Wait. Is that? Is that Mrs. Thompson from fourth grade?" Athena asks when our car stopped near the cabin.

"Yes she is"

"Jordan you didn't tell me it was Mrs. Thompson!"

"You didn't ask"

Sherry aka Mrs. Thompson approach us when we step down from the car.

"It's been a while, Sherry, how are you?"

"I've been good Jordan. And you bring someone! Who is this beautiful young lady?"

"You don't remember her?"

"I'm sorry dear I don't think... wait! She looks familiar tho.. oh my! Is that you, Athena?"

"Yes, Mrs. Thompson. It's me. How are you?"

"Oh, I have been good, child. Oh my god, you're so beautiful now. Look at you... How are you, dear?"

"Thanks, Mrs. Thompson. I am good as you can see. And you still look stunning, Mrs. Thompson"

"Oh, this old woman is anything but stunning, dear. Wrinkles everywhere haha"

"That is not true Sherry and that's the final!" I said while carrying our bags inside

"Oh, Jordan. I might forget to tell you, we are not using this cabin. It still under renovations and not done yet. Been raining for this couple days and Wilson can't fix the roof because of that"

"Oh so where we will staying?"

"The north. Near the lake. We knew you like that side but we don't know you will bring a company today"

"I didn't know you build a cabin in there"

"Uh, not a cabin but something else. It was meant for you only because we know how you like the silents"

"Oh-kay... So what is that? You look suspicious, Sherry"

"Nothing has happened in bad ways, child. Do you remembered when you said about moving the trailer to the lake?"

"Yeah"

"We kinda make it happened"

"Really?"

"Yeah. And we renovated it"

"Wow. That is cool Sherry, but what is the problem?"

"Like I said we didn't know you will bring a company today... It's only one bed?"

"Oh hahaha,  just that?"

"Yeah. But don't worry i will tell Wilson to prepare a cabin before it's getting late"

"Ohh Sherry... Where is Wilson anyway?"

"Probably still at the trailer"

"Well let's go there and see what it looks like"

"Wow. This is amazing dude!" I tell Wilson when I saw what he is done with the trailer

"Thanks man. Mom is insisting it must be decorated like this" he said

"Athena, what do you think?" i ask

"This is amazing. It looks bigger inside"

"Yes. But there's only one bed" Sherry said again

"I don't have a problem with that. Do you Jordan?"

"No. Might get used to it"

"See mom, i told you Jordan wouldn't bring someone who is not so dearly with him" Wilson said to Sherry

"You two are together?" Sherry ask

Athena nodded in hesitate and looking at me

"In fact, Athena is betrothed with me" Sherry is shocked and congrats us.

When nights come, we all are decided to have a bonfire night with the others until it's pretty late. Everyone is starting to go, so we called it a night. For me, I never saw this side of Athena in my whole life. She is so free and so warm. She is not that bad, are the words that keep playing in my mind until she pokes me. I didn't realize that i've been staring at her.

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"I never saw this side of you," I told her the truth

"Oh, do you like it?"

"Hm. You don't look like the bitchy Athena that I have known for my entire life"

"I am not that bad you know. Even I always made a b***h move towards you but... You look tired. Want to go to sleep?" she changed the subjects. 

"Yeah. But i'm curious one thing. What makes you change your mind about me?"

"Nothing. I never really hate you Jordan. That's the truth. Those bullying was to protect you from the others. You don't know how miserable i was when they almost beat you to death. But however, I do hate you because you never look at me. No matter how hard I tried to impress you, you never noticed my existences"

"And I have a crush on you before you started bullying me. You are so beautiful and i'm just a freak. I have no guts to talk to you"

"Are you still have a crush on me now?"

"You can say that"

"You dork! Wanna give us a try?"

"Sure"
