CHAPTER THREE IGNITED LOVE

1020 Words
I couldn't help but smile as I recalled the moment Nelson asked me on another date, weeks after our second. It was a typical Wednesday evening when my phone buzzed with a text from Nelson. My heart skipped a beat as I saw his name flash on the screen. "Hey Sophia, hope you're doing well! I was thinking, would you like to join me for a cooking class this weekend? I heard great things about this new culinary studio and thought it would be a fun way to spend the day together." I felt a flutter in my chest as I read his message. It had been weeks since our last date, and I had wondered if he was still interested. His text was the answer I had been hoping for. I typed out a response, trying to play it cool. "Hey Nelson, that sounds like a great idea! I love cooking and trying new things. What time and where?" We made plans to meet at the culinary studio on Saturday afternoon, and I spent the rest of the week counting down the days. As I finished writing, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Nelson's persistence and interest. Our connection was still strong, even after weeks apart, and I was excited to see where this next date would take us. Would this be the start of something more serious? Only time would tell, but I was eager to find out. The moment Nelson asked me to have a drink with him after the cooking class. Both of us spent the afternoon chopping, sautéing, and laughing together, our chemistry growing stronger with each passing minute. As we finished up our dishes and the class came to a close, Nelson turned to me with a sly grin. "Hey Sophia, I had a great time today. Would you like to grab a drink with me and continue the conversation?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. I felt a flutter in my chest as I considered his invitation. It was clear that he was interested in getting to know me better, and I was more than happy to oblige. "I'd love to," I replied, trying to sound casual despite my excitement. We walked to a nearby café, sipping our drinks and talking about everything from our jobs to our families to our dreams and aspirations. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and I found myself feeling more and more comfortable in his presence. I couldn't help but laugh at the memory of that evening. "I have to admit, I got a little carried away," I wrote. "Nelson and I were having such a great time, laughing and talking, that I didn't realize how much I had drunk until it was too late." I had felt so comfortable with him, so at ease, that I had let my guard down and forgotten to pace myself. Before I knew it, I was giggling uncontrollably and stumbling over my words. Nelson, being the gentleman that he is, had swept in and taken care of me, making sure I got home safely and even making me a cup of coffee to sober me up. I looked back on that evening, I realized that it was a turning point in our relationship. It was the moment when I let my walls down and allowed myself to be vulnerable with Nelson. And to my surprise, he had been there to catch me, to support me, and to make me feel loved and cared for. I felt a warmth in my heart, knowing that I had found someone special in Nelson. Someone who made me feel seen, heard, and loved for who I am, even when I'm a little tipsy. "I'm not sure what came over me," "but as we sat on the couch, sipping our coffee and laughing together, I felt a sudden surge of boldness." I turned to Nelson and asked, my voice barely above a whisper, "Would you take me home with you?" I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as I waited for his response. But to my surprise, he didn't hesitate. Instead, he smiled and took my hand, leading me out of the café and into his car. "I had assumed we were going to his place, but instead, he drove me to my own house!". I was taken aback, wondering why he hadn't taken me to his apartment. But as we pulled up to my front door, he turned to me with a mischievous grin. "I wanted to make sure you got home safe and sound," he said, his eyes sparkling with kindness. "Plus, I wanted you to be more comfortable seeing your state he added” My heart melted at his words, and I felt a warmth spread through my chest. No one had ever gone out of their way to take care of me like that before. we stood outside my door, he leaned in and kissed me, his lips soft and gentle. I felt like I was floating on air, my heart soaring with happiness. Nelson took me inside, and we spent the rest of the night getting to know each other on a deeper level. It was like the whole world had melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in our little bubble of love and connection. I began to touch him, and he didn't oblige, he grabbed me closer to him, I loved it so much and I didn't want him to stop, he caressed my boobs and kissed me so passionately, that night was so magical, it was our first and I was too happy that I have into everything he did to me, he asked me if he could go further, and I whispered to him softly, “I want you so bad”. We made love that night and it was beautiful I couldn't help but smile at the memory of that night. It was the start of something special, something that would change my life forever. And I was grateful to have Nelson by my side, every step of the way.
