Chapter Fourteen
Twenty minutes later Sophie pulled into the library’s parking lot. She dropped her phone and the flash drive and spiral notebook she’d retrieved from her cabin down into her oversized bag and went inside.
After she signed the visitor register at the reception desk, she was handed a slip of paper with the library’s wireless network login information and directed to a bank of computer terminals along the far wall.
Sophie purposely selected the setup at one end and sat down. She pulled her phone, her notebook and a pen from her bag then set the purse on the floor next to her chair.
She picked up her phone, scrolled through the pictures and copied each headstone’s information down in her notebook, then logged in and navigated to the county newspaper’s website.
