Chapter Thirteen The task force gathered in the main conference room of the eighth floor just after one p.m. at the request of the FBI Director. Nathan sidled up to him as the rest of the team members took their seats and murmured, “Was there a reason for moving this to our floor?” “It’s a bit of a strategic move on my part,” Nathan’s director admitted. “I said the task force would be run from this office, and I meant it.” Nathan raised an eyebrow before he went to stand at the head of the table. Immediately the room went still, everyone watching him expectantly. “Agent Myers and I have already seen what you’re about to watch. We wanted you to view it, as well. More pairs of eyes on this means we have more chances to identify useful information,” Nathan announced solemnly, then paused
