Chapter 36 In the distance, they could see Khanuilay at the bottom of a black stone quarry. Rock walls and cliffs surrounded three square black structures like a prison without the fences. There were no creatures. There was no sound. The atmosphere was as eerie as that of a tomb. Libby scurried toward a small rock and pressed it. It slid aside, revealing a door. Ciaran and Tadgh followed her inside. They followed a small tunnel, heading downward. The surface of the wall of the tunnel was rough. It appeared to have been carved using hand tools rather than any technology. There was no light. Libby moved on ahead.
