Chapter 37 Kyle roared in anger and swung his sword. The head of the creature that used to be his messenger dropped to the floor and rolled into the corner. Dark blood spurted onto the ceilings. “Get out of my sight,” he screamed. The three other creatures in the room raced outside. Once alone in the dark dungeon where he’d tied Tadgh up, Kyle shook his head and smiled to himself. He was very pleased with the result of his little stunt at the Khanuilay camp. He knew his time was coming. The tide was turning in his favor. Those little pawns running away now would spread the rumor. Any lingering Eudaizian spies in Black Rock would take that as breaking news. “Kyle is furious because his captives got away . . .” he mocked the expired Black Rock creature and laughed.
