[Author’s POV]
Elvin teleported on the cliff beside the wielder of Skoll and Hati while the good devourers lunged towards Gare. Zane knew they couldn’t get onto the beach as long as there were spiderwebs around them. So, Zane ran on the rocky terrains heading towards the cliff where Elvin teleported. Ryu and Irene followed him, and so did a few of the spiders to stop them. Ryu drew his sword and cut those oversized spiders in two halves. He slashed his sword on the sloppy terrain he was running on and rocks crumbled and fell over the rest of the spiders. Making sure no more spiders followed them, Ryu ran after Zane and Irene.
“These stupid puppets! You think you stand a chance against me!” Gare shouted. His finger barely touched the devourers, and they crumbled like ashes. Panting, Irene
