Our Last Dance

Chapter 11

Maddie and Kelly were in the library waiting for Amelia.

Kelly started bringing books out of her bags to the table.

"We get that you want to be serious, I also want to, but you should know that we are not here to read." Maddie said.

"Yeah definitely, I was just bringing the books out so that..you know..." Kelly responded.

"Oh, so they would think that we are actually reading." Maddie said.

"What a smart girl you are." She added.

"Well thank you dumbo." Kelly said jokingly.

"Oh no you did not just do that." Maddie said.

"Oh yes I did." Kelly responded.

They both laughed out loud, some people around them in the library were ready to tell them to stop laughing, but the girls were smart enough, they stopped laughing before anyone could tell them such.

Maddie checked the time on her phone.

"Where is she?" She asked.

"She said she is coming, chill." Kelly replied.

"You know school will soon be over today and we have a lot to discuss." Maddie said.

"And you chose the library?" Kelly asked with one eyebrow threading above.

"Well yes, we need privacy for our discussion." She answered.

"Privacy indeed." Kelly said sarcastically.

"Let me call her again." Maddie said.

She then grabbed her phone and started calling Amelia again.

Amelia was not picking up the call.

Few minutes later, Amelia walked in.

"Why are you blowing up my phone." She said.

"I'm sorry, someone was not picking up the calls, so I decided to keep calling." Maddie said.

Amelia took her eyes off Maddie majestically and waved to Kelly.

"Hey." Kelly greeted.

"Anyways, do you know the person I was with when someone was blowing my phone up?" Amelia asked and gave Maddie a crazy side eye.

"Who??" Kelly asked with full curiosity.

Maddie also sat up, ready to hear what Amelia has to say.

"I was with Jaden!." Amelia shouted.

"Wait what?, which Jaden?" Maddie asked.

"Is it the same Jaden that we all know?" Kelly also asked.

"Jaden the swimmer?" Maddie asked again.

"Yes girls, yes." Amelia said as she flips her hair.

"Oh my, you really are in your hot guys era." Maddie said.

"Definitely." Amelia added.

"Well yeah, I am." Amelia said.

"So how did you guys meet?" Maddie asked.

"Well it was after my tryouts..." Kelly said

"Oh yes your tryouts, how was it?" Amelia cuts in.

"Yes that's true, how was it?, I believed you crushed it." Maddie said.

"You know your girl." Amelia stood up.

"You know that I'm that girl!" She said.

"From the of the morning I shine." Maddie and Kelly also stood up as they continued the song with her.

"Shhh." "Heyy." The students in the library started complaining.

"Sorry." Maddie apologized.

"Damn, I forgot that were in the library." She added

"Imagine them shouting at us, to keep it low. How ironic." Amelia wondered.

"Right?" Kelly said.

"Okay, where were we ?" Maddie asked.

"You know that I'm that girl." Kelly sang.

"Shh, no singing." Maddie cautioned her.

"We were talking about my tryouts duh." Amelia pointed out.

"Oh yes, how was it ?" Maddie asked again.

"This time with no singing." She quickly added.

"So, I crushed it obviously, and I even broke the record for their best newbie." Amelie flaunted.

"Aww babe, I always knew you had it in you." Maddie said as she hugged Amelia.

"Yeah boo, congrats." Kelly also said.

"So yeah back to Jaden." Amelia quickly drifted back.

"Yeah, continue." Maddie said.

"So after my wonderful tryouts, he came to meet me and told me that I have the skills and that he enjoyed watching me swim." Kelly said.

"Oh my God." Kelly shouted.

"I think I'm gonna die." Maddie also shouted.

"We continued talking, untill someone started calling my phone and wouldn't stop." Amelia said as she blatantly turned her face towards Maddie.

"I knew that call wasn't going to do her any good." Kelly quickly said as she also faced Maddie.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." Maddie apologized in a very sorrowful tone.

"Don't worry, I couldn't let your shitty calls ruin my shots with Jaden, I collected his number."

"Great!" Kelly commented.

"I'm so happy for you." Maddie added.

"When I was training for cheerleading, you need to see how Dave was staring at me." Kelly said.

"Lustfully ?" Maddie asked.

"Maddie !!" Amelia shouted.

"Hold on, hold on, hold on." Maddie said.

"Kelly didn't tell us she is trying out for cheerleading." She said.

"Wait, you mean she later joined that Jessica cheerleading group ?" Amelia asked.

"Yes she did." Maddie said.

"Ugh." Amelia reacted.

"Amelia, you know that moment she left with Dave ?" Maddie asked.

"Yeah." Amelia responded.

"It was after that time I went to the football field and I just saw her with the cheerleaders having rehearsals, Soni was like, when did she join Jessica's cheerleaders group."

"Ok, Kelly, you sure have an explanation to give." Amelia said.

"Wait, wait wait. Are we not mising something important here ?" Kelly asked looking confused.

"And what is that?" Maddie said.

"Yeah, what is it." Kelly added.

"Why did Maddie go to the football field." Kelly tried to divert the attention to Maddie.

"Yeah, that's right. You never yo to the football field, so why did you go there today ?" Amelia asked giving her a suspicious look.

"Well, I just went there." Maddie said as she took her eyes off the girls face."

"Hmmnnn." Kelly reacted.

"Confess !!" Amelia said.

"Confess!!" Kelly also joined her.

"Fine, I went to the field with Francis." Maddie explained.

"Francis ???" Kelly asked.

"Francis who ?" Amelia was also lost.

"I can't expect you to know him when you were so drunk yesterday night." Maddie said.

"Yesterday night ?" Kelly was left wondering.

"And you were acting like you were the only innocent person." Amelia said.

"Hello, me and Francis didn't do anything dirty like you girls yesterday." Maddie defended herself.

"Dirty indeed." Amelia said while nodding.

"Tell me about it, I feel like a dirty slut after yesterday.", Kelly said.

"I mean, I just laid down on the bed, so desperate for sex." She added.

"What about me, I rocked and kisses a stranger, and I don't even know who that is" Amelia said.

"What if he was a loser." Maddie said.

"Girls." Amelia said with a low tone.

"Or a d**khead." Kelly added.

"Girls!." Amelia raised the tone of her voice.

"Or worse your dad." Maddie said.

"Ok Girls Enough.!!!" Amelia shouted.

"Shhhhh." The students around them signalled to them.

"Sorry." Amelia apologized to them.

"Enough of dirty secrets. Amelia said.

"Oh, I feel like there is something you girls should know.

"And what is that ?" Amelia asked.

" Yeah what is that." Kelly also asked.

"Well, do you girls remember how we got home last night ?" Maddie asked the girls.

"No !!" Kelly and Amelia said at the same time.

"Well, you girls were dead drunk, that Francis helped me to carry you into a taxi."

"Oh s**t".

"I really need to see this Francis." Kelly said.

"Yeah, me too." Amelia said.

A they were talking, the bell rang.

"Let's go home.",

"I really need to go home today, or I'll be cooked." Amelia said.

"Yeah me too." Kelly also said.

As they got out, a girl named Chloe came straight to Kelly's face.

"Hey Kelly." She said.

"Um...hey Chloe." Kelly replied.

"Yeah, hey Chloe." Maddie said.

"What do you want ?" Amelia asked looking like she is ready to fight.

Chloe was once Dave's ex, Kelly and the girls don't like her for that, and she has an annoying attitude.

"I'm not gonna waste your time, I'm gonna cut to the chase." She said straight up.

"Okay ?" Kelly said awkwardly.

"So i saw that video of you and Chris at the party yesterday." She said.

Yeah. What about it ?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah, be very careful, very careful with Chris, he is a bloody playboy."

"Yeah, thanks for sharing your opinion, but no one really asked for it." Kelly said.

"Ok!!" Don't say I didn't warn you."

"Blah, blah, blah." Kelly said jokingly.

Chloe and her friends left them.

"Ok, now I'm getting worried." Amelia said.

"I told you, I don't really like Chris, I can tell he is a playboy." Maddie said.

"Girls, you have nothing to worry about." Kelly said.

"I promise you, David is nothing like that." Kelly said and hugged Maddie and Amelia.

"Okay, can we go home now ?" Amelia asked.

"Yeah, I also need to catch the bus." Kelly said.

When they got outside, Maddie entered her car and waved to them. Amelia and Kelly would have followed Maddie but today, they ate going to their parents house.

Amelia was just getting home, she walked into the door of her house, she noticed that everywhere was silent which was so weird. She continued to walk as she was scanning her environment.

"Boo!" Amelia's brother shouted as he poured white powder on Amelia. While the other sister was recording on her phone, the last brother was laughing hard behind the door.

"Seriously!!" Amelia said with anger.

She starts to wipe the powder off her face.

"Put off the camera will you Lisa?, how many times do I want to tell you to stop recording me for your t****k videos." She said

"But I enjoy it and so does my followers." Lisa said.

"I see." Maddie replied.

"Where's mom," she asked.

"On my head." Amelia's little brother said.

"Ok, that's it, I'm going to show you your place today." Amelia said as she was about to grab him.

"Hello! Amelia " Kate, Maddie's mum greeted.

"Hey mum." Amelia greeted.

"It's been a while."

"Mum!!!"

"Seems like you forgot that you have siblings to take care of, you then ditched then on me." She said .

"No, it's not what you are thinking "

"Yeah whatever." She said

"Amelia walked into her room and lied down on her bed.

"Amelia!!!"

Amelia heard her name.

"I knew of I was in this house, they wouldn't want me to rest."

Lisa walked in to the room and saw Amelia lying helplessly on the bed.

"Sorry for the disturbance." Lisa said.

"Yeah, yeah." Amelia said.

"So what is it?" She asked Lisa

"I have a boyfriend."

"Wait what ?" Maddie screamed.

"How old are you again?"

"I'm eleven duh, ,I can have my own boyfriend."

Amelia sat there and was thinking that if this young girl already have a boyfriend then what is she doing.

"So, out relationship has been good so far, but now he seems to be caring more about Jane in the class and I don't like it." Lisa said.

"Well I would say that you should not worry yourself too much about him, if he wants to love you he will." She advised.

"What? You mean I should just sit there and watch as Jane takes my boyfriend from me?" Lisa asked.

"No that's not what I meant."

"What did I expect asking relationship advise from a single lady." Lisa ranted as she went out of Amelia's room.

"Oh my God, I really need to work on myself." Amelia said to herself.
