I went to my room and tried to distract myself with something. Maybe I should go out, run in the forests around. But I can’t say I have to check if everything is fine outside because :
One : I would hear or smell whatever approaches way before they appear.
Two : I already did that earlier, when we were having dinner.
And three : Luca won’t care if Ethan is dead so he won’t come looking for him. If Luca appears, it
will be unexpected, not now when we are all alert. If he wants to meet me, he will do it without a warning now that he knows we are here.
“Or he may not show up at all”, my wolf says, maybe he just wanted to confirm you are away and not after him.
It’s always been a chase- who will get to the other first? It will never end, not until we meet face to face.
