“All is fine,” James says and I quickly hide the note and bills in my pocket. I feel like I’ve done something terrible, my heart jamming in my ribcage.

“We could go back tomorrow. “ James says and I think I nod. James stands before me.
“What’s going on?”
I am acting like a child. A spoiled kid. A bit like Stella. I can’t be jealous of this girl, this is ridiculous. I can’t be jealous also because James is not mine, he is not with me.
