Asher’s POV
“Hazel…” I shouted her name opening the door of the backyard to find no one there which raised the level of fear inside me. Walking and looking around I called her name again and again hoping she to come out somewhere but she was not there. Pulling my hair, I turned around to find everyone running around searching for her in the whole corridor.
It was then when I remembered my grandpa’s words, “She is there because she is upset that the ones who she accepted as her own are hiding something from her alone. So, you need to make it to her and clear that you are not doing as she thought. Go because she is waiting for you.” Realizing the meaning of his words I walked out of the backyard towards the forest thinking of chances that I don’t want.
