General Duka was dazzled in confusion after he heard the King's decision. He was certain the King would love his proposal but the rejection once again left him lost. "What is the King about?", "Why would he reject a proposal that could make him the richest King in the continent?", "What did Cardamo say to the King before he gave his verdict?" all this thought lingered around his mind with no answers. He was down emotionally, the journey from the palace to his horse became a very tedious one as he walked slowly with his face looking down.
All of a sudden he heard Cardamo's voice before he got to his horse and he was angry and he decided to confront him. He walked into his front and said:
