Beams watched, torn, as Bolt and Winter clashed in the arena below. He was torn because he wasn’t sure who he wanted to win. On one hand, Bolt was his friend and he always supported his friends. On the other hand, he was still kind of annoyed at Bolt for their earlier argument and thought that maybe Bolt could stand being cut down to size.
I guess it doesn’t really matter either way, seeing as my Team isn’t going to win, Beams thought, wincing whenever the two heroes below delivered especially powerful blows that sent shock waves through the air. I should just be happy that I’m not down there in the middle of all that.
