Beams could not believe what he was hearing. “You mean to tell me that the IEA has weapons that can destroy entire dimensions?”
“Well, I said it’s experimental,” said Mr. Space, “so it might only blow up the arena.”
“Only blow up the—?” Beams sputtered. “Why are you guys doing this now?”
“Because you really don’t understand just how big a threat Aeno is,” said Mr. Space. “But don’t worry. Like I said, we’ve got a whole bunch of agents on the way to rescue all of you guys. By the time the Dimension Bomb is set up and ready to go, all of you guys should be safely back home in your respective universes.”
Beams gulped. “Listen, I’m not a big fan of Aeno, either, but this seems a little … extreme.”
