Right before the mysterious dimensional portal opened above the arena, Bolt had been focused almost exclusively on his fight with Winter. He paid no attention to Aeno, Sigil, his Teammates up in the stands, or the other eliminated Teams who were watching their battle. After Winter more or less betrayed Atmosfear, leaving the two of them the only two competitors left standing in the arena, Bolt had forgotten about everyone and everything else.
And Bolt was surprised to find that he and Winter were almost evenly matched. They traded punches blow for blow, countering or dodging each other’s moves with both ease and skill. Granted, Winter had more tricks up his sleeve than Bolt, but Bolt’s sheer brute strength was usually more than enough to make up for what he lacked in tricks and strategy.
