Chapter 18

Lucy P.O.V.

I showered and walked downstairs to find Edward cooking breakfast I saw the kids around the table and they were all eating solids I was shocked. "They are eating solids when did that start?" I asked. Edward replied, "Oh mom said last night they refused to bottle fed so she tried solid food and they tore it up." I was shocked a little sad and happy at the same time. I mean I was struggling to keep up with enough milk to feed the four of them. "Hey, honey I am going to go with the girls and my moms today to find a wedding dress we are flying out at 8 am to New York they want to take me to Kleinfeld's and I know to take security. I have Ian and some of your brothers going with us. I will be back tomorrow. Your mom is going to stay here to help with the kids." I told him. "I remember and I am glad you are taking precautions. Have fun see you tomorrow," he replied. I gave him a kiss and was met outside by everyone we got to the airport. I know have a private jet with me being the Queen one of the Kings of vampires gave to me as a gift. We boarded the plane and took off we got there in 3 hours when we arrived there were 4 blacked-out SUVs waiting on us. We arrived at Kleinfeld's apparently Queen Esme had paid them to be closed to the public for the day.  We walked and were greeted by the owner and Randy my favorite person from the show. 

"So tell me your vision for your dress Lucy," Randy said. "Well, I am getting married in 6 weeks so I need something that I can take home today. I want a fit and flare with a long train and it has to be nontraditional I would also like the second dress for the reception. I want it to be floor length and it needs to be dark red." I told him. "So you need an off-the-rack dress for both okay I got you I'm going to get some help and we are going to get you started. Follow me and we will get you into a dressing room." Randy replied. I followed him to the dressing room put on the robe that he gave me and waited. When he returned he had 6 dresses for the wedding and the girl who followed him had 12 red dresses for the reception. "Okay so do we want to start with the ceremony or reception?" Randy asked.  "Let's start with the reception," I responded. I looked through them and said no to 7 of them because the color wasn't right. I tried on a skin-tight floor-length gown it was covered in sequins and I knew it was the one. I walked out to show everyone and they all agreed even the men. When we got back to the dressing room I looked through the wedding gown and said no to two of them off the bat. I tried on one but I didn't like the color against my skin. I then tried on a beautiful black one that had a sheer bodice and white under the black lace it was perfect. I walked out and everyone was in tears including Ian. "Is this your dress?" Randy asked me. "YES YES YES THIS IS MY DRESS," I screamed. I also found the perfect cathedral veil it was black, a corset set, and jewelry. We went downstairs to the alteration department where Magda was waiting on me. I put on the corset so that she could fit both dresses to me perfectly. She had to take in around the bust area and that was all.  I got ready to pay only to find out that both of my mothers had taken care of it. We walked out and I looked at everyone.  "I want to go home tonight please I miss Edward and the kids," I asked. To which Ian responded with "The jet is already waiting on us I knew you wouldn't make it a whole day away from them." They all laughed and we headed straight to the airport. We ate on the plane Becky had ordered Chinese and had it delivered to the airport before we took off. We got home at around 11 pm I walked in quietly and crawled in bed with my soon-to-be husband. Sleep came to me easily I was awoken at 3 am to the twins crying. I ran downstairs to their room to find that Alexandrea had fallen out of her crib. I picked her up and rocked her till we both fell asleep.  Edward woke me up in the morning when he took her out of my arms. "Hey, Doll nice to see you the twins are downstairs and demand your presence." I got up ran to our room brushed my teeth threw on a red crop top and some black leggings tennis shoes and ran downstairs.
