Chapter 19

Lucy's P.O.V. 

"We are here to help you plan your wedding just tell us what you need," Becky said. "Well the colors are black and red, we want a 3 tier cake with German chocolate as the topper flavor roughly around 1'000 cupcakes all need to be colored to the theme and freedom roses as the centerpieces. You will have to talk to Edward about the menu. You can plan it I have too much stuff to do between now and then. Just show me pictures of everything and I will say yes or no. I start the first round of rogue interviews today. I want us to go to Sairian's tomorrow to find bridesmaid dresses and I need you two to be my maid of honors." I replied. They looked at each other and shook their heads yes. I left the twins to do the planning I knew they would have fun. I walked up to the kid's room where I found Edward trying to get the girls dressed. "Hey honey let me help you. Oh and Alpha Felix is bringing the first set of rogues today for me to interview. So I will be out till 6 p.m. I have already asked our moms to come and watch the kids. So that you can get back to your Alpha duties. Oh, and we have interviews at lunch with a few omega's so that we can pick three of them to nanny the kids. I know that we said we weren't going to do that when we had discussed having kids but with you bringing Alpha and me binging Queen we have to. I want to pick one to live with us full time." I told him. He looked at me "Thank Goddess I didn't want to bring it up but they were going to be difficult to take care of and do our jobs." he responded. I was surprised to say the least but glad that we agreed. I kissed him and headed to the old packhouse we had decided that would be where I would handle my business. As soon as they walked out in walked Keagan to let me know that the Library was officially stocked with all the books I could ever need on any creature that is out there so that I can read up on who I am leading.

I was met by Felix with about 30 rogues he had told me on the phone that he had to kill about 20 of them when he found them. I wasn't surprised at all but hey some were better than none. I greeted him "Hey Felix bring them downstairs to the holding cells and we will do this one at a time," I told him. About the time he got them in the building I was mind-linked by Keagan. "Queen Lucy there is a girl here she is scared and said that she needs to see you report abuse," Keagan told me. I wasn't shocked, but I wanted to see her first, so I told Keagan to bring her straight to my office. They arrived about 15 minutes later I had started to get worried but when they knocked and walked in I was greeted by a girl that couldn't have been any older than 15. I know that her wolf hasn't shown up yet and that they had to walk instead of run. I stood up and greeted them both and dismissed Keagan.

"Hello sweetheart my name is Queen Lucy but you can call me Lucy," I told her. "Um hey my name is Janice and it is nice to meet you, Queen Lucy. I was attacked by my Uncle Keith he is a vampire but I was born a werewolf. He and my Uncle Lucifer have been holding me in the basement at their castle. But about a week ago they left to kill some girl named Elizabeth and never came back. I overheard that they had died in that battle and that the new queen had made this pack a haven for the abused. So I made my escape and ran here as fast as I could." She responded. I got up and walked over to her and took her hand I don't know why but the second I touched her hand I saw everything that had ever happened to her and she was telling the truth. I took a step back but never let her hand go when I realized who she was exactly I hugged her and almost cried. I mind linked my mom from the Saving Grace pack "Mom I think I found her. I think I found Vivian, mom I swear it's her she is her in my office get her now and bring dad." I cut off my mind link. " Janice, I have one question How long have they held you captive there?" I asked her because Vivian was taken from our pack when she was only 3. We had looked everywhere for her, but her scent hadn't shown up yet because she was so little. She looked at me and said that she had always been in the basement but she could remember bits and pieces from before. At about that time there was a knock at my door I told them to come in and they looked at her and began to cry. "Okay mom, dad before we jump to a conclusion go to the pack hospital Dr. Jamerson is waiting on yall there he is going to do a DNA test to confirm," I told them. I already knew what the results were going to be I just wanted paperwork to back it up.

They left I told Felix to come in with the first rogue. He walked in and I was met by a man who looked like he was maybe 18. I was shocked but I didn't show it. "Okay, Felix step outside I have got it from here," I told him. He walked out and shut the door of the room. It is soundproof but I have my mindlink open to Felix just in case. "Okay so here is how this is going to work I am going to ask you a series of questions and if I find out that you did become a rogue for no other reason than you wanted to you will die today. By the way, don't even bother lying to me I will know if you do." I told him he shook his head, yes and I started my questioning. "So first what is your name and who is your original pack?" I asked. "My name is Axel Soo Lou and I am originally from the Lang pack in Japan. I left my pack on my birthday I am only 17 because my dad was trying to force me to marry a woman who wasn't my mate. So I took all my money out of my account and got a plane ticket here. I have only been in the states for 2 days. I was honestly looking for a new pack when I was told by that Alpha outside that I had to come to meet with the queen of all supernatural beings since I was a rogue. I was surprised that you are a woman. But there you are and here I am." he said. "Okay, so you are looking for a pack now?" I asked him. "Yes I am actually," he replied. "Okay so here is what I can do for you. I can accept you into my pack the Queen's security pack you will train and you will also live here in this packhouse. You will answer to only me. Is that okay with you?" I asked. "Yes, I can do that. I would be happy to do that for you," he responded. "Okay, I will also tell Alpha Edward to let his pack know so that you don't get attacked by any of them," I told him.

"Felix bring in the next rogue please?" I said. "Yes, Queen Lucy will do." He responded. "Oh and just call me Lucy please," I told him. He walked in with what looked like a woman that looked to be in her late teens or early twenties. Somehow I already knew her name. "Haley my name is Queen Lucy tell me your story." I demanded "My mother Rebeca was already a rogue when I was born. My mother was raped by Alpha Henry Bouchard of the Steel Mountain pack out of Birmingham Alabama. When she found out that she was pregnant she left the pack in the middle of the night because she knew if he found out he would kill her. Because he had never been able to produce an heir. We have run all over the northwest and even into Canada. I only started to return to my mother's home to kill him. My mother was murdered by an assassin three years ago when I was only 16 he only left the body and not the head. I knew for a fact that it was her because we had matching tattoos on our ribs. When I got close to the border of Alabama and Mississippi I was captured." she said. "As Queen, I will make sure that he sees his just reward all I ask is that you join my security team. You have been able to stay alive for three years all on your own and that in of itself shows me your capability." I told her and she immediately agreed.

In walked a man that looked like he was in his early 20's. Something is different about him I can't quite put my finger on it. "Hey, I am Queen Lucy what is your name?" I asked. He refused to look at me and stared at the floor. I repeated myself and he looked at me pointed at his mouth and showed me that his tongue had been removed. So I took his hand into mine and I could see everything that had ever happened to him. His name is Sven and he is from White Rock pack out of Norway. I could see that his father had removed it when he was only 16 years old. He had found out that his father was keeping s*x slaves. He had told his father that he was going to report him to the King of Norway wolves. I started to cry he had to survive for seven years like this. He was a warrior at his pack before he was banished from it and he was a strong one at that. I took his hand into mine and told him that he could join my security pack, be my gamma and he could help train them. " I will hire a sign language teacher so that you can learn and so that the security team can as well so that you can communicate with each other," I told him.

I called Jacklyn "Hey mom can you look into sign language teachers that are also wolves, please? And I need some names today." "Yes, Lucy I will start on it right away," she answered. I hung up and told Felix to bring in the next one. This time I was surprised to see Logan walk in he was a guy I went to school with. He was part of the Nixx pack from the town over or at least I thought he was. 

"Logan I don't know if you remember who I am if not that is ok I am Queen Lucy," I said. "I remember who you are and I am surprised the quiet girl from the Saving Grace pack is the Queen." He responded. "Okay, so how exactly did you become a rogue?" I asked him. "Well, our Alpha wanted me out of the pack because I was his secret child from an affair that he had with my mother. He had sons with his Luna but I was born first and when my wolf appeared it was black. So he forced me out of the pack." Logan told me. I got up out of my seat and took his hand so that I could see the truth and sadly enough he was telling the truth. He is of Alpha bloodline which would usually cause a problem but with me being Queen I will have no trouble keeping him in line. And I could use him as my beta if I am honest. " Okay so here are your options you can stay here and train and be my beta with my being the queen you won't have to worry. And your second choice is death." I told him.  He looked at the floor for about 5 minutes before he answered. "I will stay here and be your beta and what do you mean a train?" he asked me. I had already mind-linked Keagan as Logan finished his question he walked in. "Yes Queen Lucy how can I be of assistants?" he asked. " I would like to introduce you to Logan Stone he is my new Beta for my security pack. I would like for you to train him on how to be a beta. And I need you to get in touch with Edward and tell him I am on my way to his office for lunch." I told him.

With that, I walked out to the hall and looked for Felix.  "FELIX WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU?" I yelled. He came running from the kitchen with a sandwich. "I'm sorry boss. I got hungry please forgive me," he said. "It's okay I am about to go to the main packhouse to have lunch with Edward I will be back in exactly one hour to start with the rest," I told him.  He smiled at me and I walked out to my truck got in and drove to the main house.
