A woman was kneeling in front of a man who sat like a king on the chair with his right leg on the left one. He had a cold aura that could make anyone shiver. "Please, Mr De Luca, don't kill me. I promise to pay back the money, please just give me time" she pleaded. "Ms Avalon, we gave you a lot of time and now the boss has run out of patience", his second in command said. Audrey had borrowed money from the mafia and fumbled with it thinking that she would win and double the money, but she lost all of it and didn't have any ways of paying back the money. Roman De Luca, the ruthless and wealthiest mafia Don in New York, even the police department in the city, was scared of him and no one would dare go against him. " Get this woman out of my sight and make sure her family receives her body after you are done with her", he said in a cold voice, he didn't care about Audrey's pleas and also the money she borrowed because that was less than what he earned in a day. Audrey was shocked when she heard what Roman had said. She had to think of a plan first. She couldn't just die. She was still thinking of a plan when she felt her body being lifted. "Wait"she shouted, making and Roman's second in command gestured for the bodyguards to put her down. "Mr De Luca, please don't kill me, why don't l give you something that can pay for my debt"she said making Roman raise his brow. "What is it?" Roman asked wanting to know what Audrey was going to offer that was enough to pay for her debt. "My stepsister" she said causing Roman to laugh. "And what makes you think l want you stepsister?" He asked amused. "She is beautiful, hardwork and she can make a good bed warmer"she hated her stepsister and wouldn't feel bad if she died in the hands of the mafia. "What if l say l have a girlfriend?" Roman asked, making Audrey's face fall, that was the only escape plan she had and now that Roman had a woman she was definitely going to die. Roman was enjoying the look on Audrey's face. He loved it when people were afraid of him. It gave him peace. " What is your sister's name? " Roman asked and Audrey looked up with hope in her eyes. "Reign"she answered quickly. "Where is she?" He asked again. "She is outside we came with her"Audrey said. "So you came planning to give your sister in exchange for your debt?" Roman signaled his guard to check whether Reign was there. The guard came back and nodded. "There is a back door that way you can leave through it", Roman said, and Audrey thanked him. "If l ever see your face again, you'll be dead"he said, and Audrey ran out of that place without looking back. "Get her to the manor" Roman said getting up, he straightened his suit and left the warehouse. Reign was already getting worried, she had been waiting for Audrey for the past hour. Audrey told her not to follow her inside, no matter how long she takes. She was also getting annoyed and impatient. She had a date with her fiancé in an hour. She was also tired. Audrey had asked her to take her somewhere when she got home from work. She just wanted to go home and rest before going for her date. She was about to leave when two huge men in black suits and shades walked to her. "Reign Avalon?" One of them with a scar on his left face asked. "Yes that's me, how may l help you?" Reign had a bad feeling the moment she saw those men and her instinct told her to leave, but her stubborn heart wanted to know what the men wanted to say, maybe Audrey had asked them to get her. "Did Audrey ask you to come get me?" She asked the men looked at each other before nodding. "This way ma'am" They led Reign to the parking lot where an Aston Martini was waiting for them, one of them opened the door for Reign while the other one got behind the wheels. Reign had no idea where they were taking her, but she decided to remain calm and not listen to her subconscious that was warning her of an impending danger. She rested her head on the car seat and closed her eyes to rest for a bit. The car pulled up in front of the most elegant manor, everything around it screamed wealth "Ma'am, we are here. The driver woke her up. "What is this place?" Reign asked the moment she woke up and found herself in front of the beautiful manor. "You'll find out ma'am ". The same man who opened the door for Reign was the same one who opened the door for her again. This time he bowed to her, which surprised her. Why were they showing her so much respect, like she was their queen? They ushered her inside the manor, and she was in awe. Inside the manor was all white, the couches were white as well and arranged perfectly. The staircase was made of gray marble and the rails painted gold. "Excuse me, where is my sister?" Reign asked after she had finished admiring the manor. "This way Ms", the one with the scar led her towards the stairs. They walked ahead with Reign following. They stopped in front of a black door. They opened the door and gestured Reign to enter. The room was large with a king-sized bed in the middle with black and red bedding. There were two nightstands on both sides of the bed with beautiful vases on them. Reign was still admiring when she heard the door close, "Hey, where is my sister?" She shouted, turning the knob. It was locked from outside. "Hey, open this door and take me to my sister". She shouted again but nothing. No one heard her because the room was soundproof, but she didn't know that. " Please open this door, I beg you please "she said, as she felt tears pricking her eyes. If only I had listened to my instincts, I wouldn't have been here now, she thought. "What do l do now? I can't stay here. I have to leave" she said, and tried to open the door again, but it wouldn't bulge. Roman was in the bathroom taking a shower when he heard the door open and closed immediately. He instantly knew that his men had delivered his parcel. He then heard Reigns' voice and felt the urge to see her face. He hoped she was beautiful, just like her sweet voice. He wrapped his towel around his waist and walked out. Reign was standing by the door trying to open it. She wanted to get out of that place and go look for Audrey. She heard the door to the bathroom open and she looked up. Roman was leaning on the door with his arms crossed over his chest and had an amused face. Reign looked up from his chest, moving down to his hot abs. She looked up and met his silver eyes staring at her blue ones, his hair was still dripping, and the water droplets fell on his chest, moving down to his abdomen to his v-line. "Take my advice and stop shouting, because no one is going to hear you. This room is soundproof. In fact, the whole manor is soundproof, so stop shouting", Roman said in a deep sexy voice, bringing Reign back to reality. He walked into the walk-in closet. " where is Audrey ", she asked, but got no response, and she hated it when anybody ignores her, she got angry and followed Roman in the closet. "Am as..." Reign stopped in her track and turned facing the room and her back facing roman, she just walked in a naked Roman. He just smiled at her cuteness and carried on with his dressing as Reign left the closet. Roman walked out of the closet fully dressed and found Reign standing at the window enjoying the beautiful scenery in front of her. The manor was built in a green vegetative area and there were flowers around it. Roman was so mesmerized by her beauty, she looked like a goddess with her pale skin. Her long black hair fell nicely on her back, they looked soft and Roman felt the urge to run his hand into them. She had a model's body, her hands were itching to hold her slender waist. Reign looked so delicate and Roman felt the need to protect her and that's what he was going to do. Reign felt Roman's gaze on her and she turned to face him,he was dressed in a black suit and a black shirt with three buttons unbottoned leaving his chest exposed. He had a blue stainless military watch. Reign looked up and found Roman already looking at her, "where is my sister?"she asked. "Which sister,the one who sold you to me?" Roman asked amuse. "What are you crazy?" Reign asked in disbelief. "Audrey can never do that to me l don't believe any s**t you spit out of that hole you call a mouth" Roman took out his phone and gave it to Reign. "Why are you giving me your phone?" She asked but Roman gestured her to take the phone. "Wait! Mr De Luca please don't kill me,why don't l give you something that can pay my debt" "What is it" "My stepsister" "And What makes you think that l want your stepsister?" "She is beautiful, hardworking and she can make a good bedwarmer"The phone fell from Reign's hand,falling down and cracking. She couldn't believe that Audrey could do that to her,she always considered her,her sister even though their mothers were different. She never hated her and her mother even when they treated her like a slave. Reign stumbled back and before Roman could hold her she fell on the bed. Reign felt tears flow from her eyes and decided to left them flow, Roman didn't want to leave her all by herself but he had somewhere important to be so he left
