CHAPTER THREE

Amelia walked into the room and found Reign looking sad. "Reign, what's wrong? "She asked, sitting beside her. " I don't want to stay here,I want to go back home to my fiancé. We were supposed to get married this month"she said as tears flowed from her eyes. "I want my life back". Amelia knew how Reign felt. Being away from your family and loved ones was really sad. Amelia just held her.

Reign cried until she fell asleep in Amelia's arms. She felt comfortable because she had never felt a mother's love eversince she was little. Her mother died after giving birth to her.

Reign woke up and found herself in a purple silk nightgown. She knew that Amelia was the one who put it on her. She looked outside, and it was already dark. She was about to get off the bed when she remembered something. "Where is my phone? Only Jaxon can get me out of this place"she hurried out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen where Amelia was busy making dinner while the other two maids were cleaning and arranging things. "Amelia have you seen the bag I came with?"she asked trying to control her breath. "Roman kept it in his safe" Amelia replied stirring the soup" Reign knew that she was never getting the bag again. "Can you lend me your phone ?"Amelia took out her phone but before Reign could take it Antonio took it. "Am sorry ma'am but you are not allowed to make any calls without sir Roman's permission"he said as he kept the phone in his pocket. Roman had left strict instructions not to allow Reign to get access to a phone. Reign left the kitchen and went back to the room feeling low, Jaxon was the only one to help her and now she can't get a way to contact him. Roman walked into the room and found Reign pacing up and down looking all annoyed. "Get ready we are going to Italy "he said startling her. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear Roman walk in. "Am going nowhere with you,I want to go back home, back to my life" Reign said firmly looking straight into his eyes. "Reign I own you and I can take you wherever I go and this is your life now, you are MINE" he said calmly and sat on the couch. "You can't do this to me,I have a life ,a fiancé who is waiting for me and my job"Reign said angrily. Roman laughed and stood up.

" Reign go get ready we are leaving in half an hour",Roman said, and got up to leave. "You can't do this to me first you kidnap me, then deny me access to a phone, and now you are taking me out of the country."

"Reign you have five minutes to get ready, hurry up"he said at the door and left. Reign let out a frustrating groan and went to get ready. Roman was sitting on the couch reading a magazine when Reign appeared at the stairs in a white short dress with white wedges. She tied her hair in a ponytail and put on light makeup, but she still looked spectacular. Roman couldn't stop staring her until she reached down the stairs. He got up from his seat and walked to Reign. He held her waist and pulled her close to him,"you look so gorgeous, love"he said and gave her a light peck on the lips. "Let's go",he led her out of the house to the drive way where five black SUVs were waiting for them. Roman opened the door of the one in the middle and ushered Reign to get in,he closed the door and went to the other side. The ride to the airport was quiet. Reign rested on the window of the car and was looking outside while Roman was busy on his phone.

They reached the airport and Roman opened the door for Reign . She stepped out and he held her waist leading her to his private jet that stood there with all its glory. The interior design was of brown and cream leather. "Welcome aboard again Mr De Luca"the stewardess said . "Thank you Zara"Roman said making Reign roll her eyes. Roman pulled Reign close to him and they walked to their seats. Zara looked at Reign with envy,she was thone who was supposed to be by Roman's side not Reign,she thought.

Reign sat far from Roman,she didn't want to get into close contact with Roman . There were other two men present too,one of them she recognized him as Roman's second in command but still didn't know his name and the other guy she hadn't seen him before. They seemed to be discussing something important with Roman . Zara came with a glass of champagne and offered it to Reign,she was about to take it when Zara intentionally let go of the glass and it fell on Reign's dress spoiling it. "What the f**k" Reign said standing up. "Am really sorry ma'am ,am really sorry"she said with a small smirk. "Zara clean this mess, Reign let's go Roman led Reign to the bedroom to change her dress, Reign went to the bathroom to change. She came back to the room in a short blue off shoulder dress. "Just go back to your meeting am feeling sleepy" Reign said without turning to face Roman ,Roman got of the chair and walked to the her and turned her to face. "Okay,call me if you need anything"he kissed her forehead and left. On his way he met Zara, "never repeat what you did earlier if you love your life"he said and left without lol oking at her. Reign saw and heard everything and just smiled,Zara looked up and saw her. "This is not over,Roman is mine"she said with clenched teeth. "I never said he was mine,you can have him for all I care"Reign said and closed the door on her face and went to sleep. She was bored and all she could do was sleep. Roman finished the meeting and went to check up in Reign,he got to the room and smiled. She looked so cute with her hair all over her face,Roman walked to the bed lying next to her and removed the hair from her face. He kissed her forehead and pulled her closed to him and fell asleep since he was also tired.

Reign woke up and found herself in Roman's arms with her arm around him and leg on Roman. She was about to get up to get out of the awkward position they were in when she heard the door open and Zara walked,she lifted up her hands and that's when Reign saw she had a knife. Before she could stab her Reign held her hands. "Am going to kill you"Zara said as she struggled to free her hands from Reign's tight grip. Since Zara was more stronger that Reign she freed herself and was about it stab Reign when Roman removed her and she stab the mattress. Roman took out his gun and shot her arm. Axel and the other guy came to the room and took Zara away. Reign was still on top of Roman holding him tight. "Are you okay?" Roman asked causing Reign to look up with a glare. "How do you expect me to be okay when l almost got killed because of you "Reign snapped at him. "Because of me,what do you me?"Roman asked sitting up. "Zara was madly in love with you dummy" Reign said rolling her eyes. "What? That's so stupid" Roman said and laid back and closed his eyes. Reign had no other choice but to lay down but not be for making sure there was distance between them.
