Nova's POV "Hurry up Nova, you don't wanna be late on your first day, do you?"mom asked again. "Nope, coming mother!"I replied.Goodness,I really have to work on my clumsiness.Gosh!! I brushed my hair pulling it up into a tight bun.I did a light makeup, not that I could do more than that though.Slipping into my jacket,I pulled my boots over my feet dragging along my school bag from the couch.Banging the door,I glided down the stairs and to the dining. "Scumbag"I retorted, annoyed because everyone was laughing at the way he smacked my ass I took a seat, breathing in slowly.The last thing I wanna think about is my life.Sighing,I looked up to lock eyes with a guy on sweatpants,he didn't move, just staring.The bus came to a halt and I alighted right in front of REDWOOD HIGH. Phew! I sighed."You can do this Nova!" I kept assuring myself as I walked pass students.It was almost time for my first class,I might be a nerd but trust me, I've got the brains. "Fresher?"I heard as I turned to find a girl of almost the same height smiling at me. "Um... yeah"I chuckled "That's great.Me too, what's your major?"she asked "Business administration"I replied "Mass com.I'm Gert by the way,Gert Romanov"she grinned "Nova Peterson" "See you around Nova"she smiled waving at me,I nodded.Did you see that? someone actually talked to me first.I told my inner self walking to the Statistics class.The tutor wasn't in,thank goodness.I took an empty seat in the front row. "Hello pretty"I looked up to see a guy in front of me "Hey"I smiled "Mind if I sit with you?"he asked, he's a blonde,cute one though with blue orbs. "Sure, I don't"I replied "So... you're new here?"he asked grinning "Yup.I replied.Can someone tell this guy that he's smiling a little too much.I mean,who does that? "I'm Ethan Dickson.Friends?"he asked sticking out his hand "Sure,why not?"I replied as we both smiled after I took his hand.We talked about a lot of cool stuff.I actually made two more friends, Ellie and Violet.
