Chapter 14 Sleep was impossible. Every time I closed my eyes, Thomas's scarred face appeared in my mind. His warning echoed in my head: “The last time a red wolf lost control.” I tossed and turned all night, my sheets tangled around my legs. The words “Blood Moon” flashed behind my eyelids anytime I close my eyes, causing shivers of power to run through my body. By morning, I decided to find out, and not wait a second longer. I grabbed some jeans and a simple white t-shirt and quickly put them on without even taking time to put on makeup. The mirror reflected my exhaustion — under-eye circles and all, my hair is put in a messy ponytail. But I didn't care how I looked. I just needed the truth. “Have you seen Alpha Mason?” I asked a pack of wolves as I walked across the training grounds
