"As you know, I've been in Roseland for about a full day already..." Ace began, taking my hand in his. It felt so cold as we were standing outside in the snow; unnaturally cold. His hand seemed to have been lifeless but by no doubt, he was alive and standing close to me. He was breathing and talking, and nudged for me to walk beside him with his hand. He welcomed the warmth of my hand and didn't want to let go as he led me around the house to the front yard. The streets were usually empty during the snowy season safe for the few people that would pass by every once in a while.
