Early the next morning, my body naturally woke me up an hour after the sun had risen. I open my eyes and rolled to lay on my side, facing the window. It was bright outside. The cloud coverage was less than it was the previous day but the sun didn't make its appearance from behind the clouds. It hadn't snowed since last night and there was some feet of snow covering the ground outside. I closed my eyes for a few minutes but I couldn't fall asleep no matter how long I waited.
