Before heading to the prince's apartment, Ven took a stroll through the princess' apartment. He made sure to take the route that would avoid Iris' room in case she was in there. He had no desire to speak to or to even see his mother at the moment. He was told not to disturb me as I slept, but he wanted to see my face for the last time that night; to make sure that I was sleeping well.
