Two hours after leaving the meat out by the door when everyone else was supposed to ne asleep, I found that I still couldn't fall asleep even after drinking the warm milk. It was by no coincidence that the same wolf from the forest, which was hours and hours away from where Roseland was, had found itself in my backyard. It was there for a reason and I had to know what it was. Perhaps it had tracked my scent and followed me back to the palace and then to Roseland.
Either way, it couldn't be seen in the human world as it would cause fear within the community. They would hunt it down and I didn't know what would happen to it after it was caught.
