Vampires had never been on the supporting side of the were-folk; more specifically the Von Lykaner Family when they decided to take the reigns of Rusland and rule it as either its king or queen. Rusland used to be a harmonious kingdom of many species and creatures, and they weren't ruled by any ruler nor was there an empty throne to fill. It was only some generations ago that some conflict arose within the kingdom when they didn't have a ruler that the were-folk decided that the kingdom needed a king.
