Hyacinth Fern’s POV:
It has been a busy week. Well actually we have been busy since we moved into the town.
My husband and I were given a mission. We were always the best pair in the agency. Whatever mission that were assigned to us, it was always successful.
Our mission in this town involves our daughter. She actually is going to play a big role, but I am a little afraid she might not be able to fulfill it.
Today, I’ll have do something. My daughter has been asking when will she be part of the mission.
“Honey, you’re going to the school today?” My husband asked me as I walk downstairs. He just came out from the study room, wearing his eyeglasses he only wear when he’s reading.
“Yes,” I answered then gave him a sweet smile.
“Make sure Reyva won’t see you.” He reminds me.
“Of course I’ll be careful. That’s why I’m wearing a dress.” I said, and turn around. I do not usually wear dresses.
It is only when we are in a mission that I wear dresses. It was a good disguise, especially when I have to seduce a man. It really makes my husband jealous when he knew that I have to do it for the mission.
Since I am going to the academy, I have to be careful so that my daughter won’t recognize me. She might have an idea about the mission if she sees me and we want to avoid that.
“You certainly is beautiful honey.” My husband reacts to my outfit. It’s a red dress, designed with flowers. I made sure the dress would be below my knee. My husband gets annoyed whenever I wear short dresses. He says he must be the only one who can see my body. It kind of makes me happy.
“Well I have to go now honey.” I said then gave him a peck on the lips but he snaked his hand on the back of my head and deepen the kiss.
“Alright be careful. I’ll be waiting,” he huskily said after the kiss with a grin. “And be back early.” He continue then gave me a tight hug which made me smile.
Upon reaching the academy, I parked my car in the private parking area. I knew about it since I have been observing the school last week.
The principal’s room is in a building not much visited by students which is good because there won’t be any chances that my daughter would be here. But, I still need to be careful. My daughter wanders around a new environment, so I know she could be possibly anywhere around the school.
After getting down my car, I walked towards the elevator and pressed the floor where the principal’s office is. As soon as the elevator stopped I went out, then directly went to the office, knocking 3 times.
“Enter.” I heard a woman’s voice from the inside so I entered. The woman was on her table signing papers.
The room was quiet, only my heels is making a sound as I walk closer to the table. The woman sitting which I can tell is the principal is still busy signing the papers.
“What can I do for you?” She asks while signing the papers.
“I’ll wait for you to finish that,” I said politely as I remove the sunglasses I am wearing.
I look around the room, there were cabinets every corner of the room, except from the left corner from the door. There are flowers planted on a pot near the window which has a thick curtain. The trophies on the top of the cabinet have dusts.
I put my sight back to her, she’s almost done signing the papers. Upon signing the last page, she put the papers back to the folder and set it aside. She let out a heavy sigh, fix her glasses and crossed her fingers on top of the table raising her head to see me.
“Hello Elizabeth,” I greeted her. I smiled when I saw her face shocked. For a moment, she wasn’t moving, only staring at me. I know what she’s thinking.
“Please don’t mistake me as my sister. My name’s Hyacinth.”
“O-oh, okay. I know she had a sister but I didn’t expect that you would look exactly like her.” She said after recovering from the shock.
“Well what I can do for you Ms. Roberts.”
“It’s Fern, I’m married.” I corrected her. She only know my sister when she was on highschool and presumed I have the same last name with my sister.
“Oh, my mistake. I’m sorry.”
“I came here to ask you a favor,” I said.
“Whatever I can do to the rightful heir,” she replies. Technically, I am not the heir, but it calms me to hear it from her. “Please have a seat,” she continues.
“Well, I want you to make my daughter the Campus Queen on the Homecoming Ball.”
“What? Ms. Jones have that title. Her mother always makes her the Campus Queen every year,” she said, worry evident on her face.
“Ah, it’s Kaitlyn you are worrying about. That evil woman who stole everything from my sister.” I angrily said but still made sure to sound calm.
“Yes, I cannot go against her or I will lose my position as principal.” She grabs the bottle of water from the table and drink from it.
“Well, whatever it takes, make sure to give my daughter a higher title, higher than Kaitlyn’s daughter.” I said, looking intently on her eyes. I can see her lose her composure as she combed her hands on her hair.
She was silent as I stare at her. I felt cold when a gush of wind from the open window brushed my hair.
“I think I can your daughter a title.” She suddenly said breaking the silence.
“Good. I will not ask about it, but make sure it won’t disappoint me. Don’t try to fool me, I know everything around here.” I said coldly.
“I will not disappoint you.”
“Her name is Reyva Fern. Don’t forget that name. Okay?” When I saw her nod, I was satisfied. I put my sunglasses back and walked to the door.
“By the way, nice meeting you.” I said and went out of the room.
