Survival Oddysey

The first rays of the sun shun brightly on the Earth's Surface. And like any other normal day. I woke up from my deep slumber. I got up. And as usual, I did my morning exercises. Which consisted of push-ups, press-up and other various kinds of exercises. After some hours of performing various exercises. I went to my bathroom, humming a song. As I bathed, while dancing under the moisture of the shower. Finally after some minutes, 15 minutes to be exact. After I had finished freshening up. I wore a simple trouser and shirt. And like any other day, I went out to get an airtime so as to continue with the awesome novel that I was reading. Humming a song, I opened the door to my house. And went out to the stall, some meters away from my household. Which I couldn't be bothered to calculate, but since I was used to this place. I could simply estimate it to be an 100 meter race. "Who cares anyway." I had this thought, as I continued humming, as the headset was giving me a great melody of music that I was too fond of. I continued with my slow walking pace, The walk that should have taken less than a minute, was still ongoing even after 2 minutes. I wondered if it was the music that caused so or if it was my feet that had caused it. Seeing that I couldn't get an answer from myself. I decided to drop it at the back of my mind. As I raised my head up to check how close I was to the stall. I suddenly caught sight of a figure, which I couldn't distinguish no matter how hard I tried since I was only seeing the figures back which was covered in some weird attire, and in front of the figure stood a man, who had a look of fear and horror on his face. The figure made some weird eerie sounds and noises, which I couldn't seem to understand. My interest was peaked as I stood some meters away, removing my headset. I watched the show with great curiosity. Why was the an afraid of his fellow mate. To me it seemed like a film show was going on. Which I didn't mind watching as it unfolded. The man in front of the figure while trying to retreat, Fell down. With his butt hitting the ground harshly. But as any number being was supposed to do To see if he got he injured, but no instead of doing this. The man still had a look of fear. His eyes which I could faintly discern from afar had a look of fear and horror on his face. I finally got my answers to why the man's eyes were filled with the look of fear and horror. That was because suddenly to my shock. The figure did the unbelievable! The figure did the unthinkable! I saw the unbelievable. I saw the unimaginable! The figure with his mouth wide opened, cut off the man's head. The figure literally removed the man's head from his body. With the man's eyes still having that look of horror and fear even after his death. My face tuned solemn. I was shaken to the core, I was scared witless. I couldn't believe it but the truth was right in front of me whether I believed it or not. I tried to move my body. But as though I wasn't in control of my body. My body didn't respond to my calls or beck. My body had suddenly become frozen, I couldn't move my body. Suddenly the weird figure turned its head in a bizarre and weird manner. Showing it's abominable face that looked disgusting and eerie to the peak. My heart almost busted out of my body, as the creature turned its weird and disgusting face. Although I felt like vomiting. Who knew how this creature was and it's temper. If it knew that I vomited because of its disgusting face. Wo knew if I would have gone to hell faster. So without any choice, I forcibly stopped myself from vomiting. The weird look in the weird creature's eyes as though it was smiling at me. The look in his eyes sent chills down my spine. Something was shouting within me. Run! Run! Run! Taking a mouthful of deep breath, I calmed myself down. I turned my body and as expected my body didn't also want to die. So it paid heed to my calls. As soon as I turned back, I started running. I really ran. I ran faster than I ever thought I could run. But although the weird looking creature was merely walking in a weird manner as though it was drunk. It was almost catching up with me, 10 meters away from me. Although I didn't look to ascertain this. I was sure that the weird noises and eerie voice that I was hearing approximately 10 feet away from me couldn't be wrong. I didn't dare to look back to ascertain this. Without even needing to be told, I pushed myself even harder. I pushed myself further, surpassing my limits. I took large strides as I continued with my escape. Finally I saw the house of mine which I never valued but was about to save my life. But I didn't dare to heave a sigh of relief. Currently 3 feet away from me, stood the weird creature that looked like a human but with disgusting body and face. The creature swiped out with its sharp claws threatening to rip off my head. I couldn't help but curse, could it be that this freak of a creature had a weird fetish. Always going for the head, the claws about to reach me. But I dodge just in time, moving to the right side. I rolled into my house gate which was previously opened since I didn't bother to close it. Locking it immediately. I heaved a sigh of relief. Just when I was planing to go and settle my mind. And calm myself down when I entered the room. As I was about to move into the room. I heard the sound of glass piercing a body. I couldn't understand what that sound was. But I got my answers before I could think or guess any further. The weird looking creature was now standing on the glass that covered my house fence. With its whole body covered with glass shards of various length. The creature's eyes and mine met each other. Taking a deep gulp of saliva. I didn't even need to be told, I dashed towards my room.
