This is the end of Solera. The end of me. meTunnel vision as everything crumbles. Unable to focus on anything but the creeping darkness in the sky. I’m suffocating. The weight of the world is too heavy. The tasks before me are too vast. Insurmountable in what little time I have left. The shadows above are a reflection of the shadows in my soul. They consumed me until I was a shell, an empty husk devoid of love and hope and the desire to fight. The night I stopped fighting was the night I took my own life. Tried to, anyway. I’m not quite dead yet. Even if I wanted to go back, I don’t know how. I can’t see a path out of here. Try as I might to wake up, I’m trapped. Locked inside my dying brain, suffering through this prolonged fever dream, forced to watch as the darkness of death creeps
