Mental Disorder
The relationship or association of neuro-biologic function and symptoms of psychiatric disorders is that it all happens in the inside of the head. Just like, for example, when someone is experiencing a headache, some will also hear someone's murmuring inside their head. I guess some mental disorders are causes of stress and overthinking which all happen in the head. That is why I can say that neuro-biologic functions and symptoms of psychiatric disorders are interrelated.
Nurses should have proper knowledge about mental disorders. They should also see the bigger picture, not only seeing mental disorders as a cause of anxiety. More than that, they should also consider mental disorders as illnesses wherein they need to take action to cure them. As nurses, they should be knowledgeable enough for them to apply the proper care for the one who has a mental disorder. Nurses should also sympathize with these people for them to realize what specific care should be given to them. This is to identify what appropriate care should be administered to a certain patient. Nurses are not only responsible for this, but also other health care professionals and relatives of the patient for them to realize and understand why they are acting like that and how to cope with it.
