I could tell Alice was getting more comfortable, I didn't feel an inch of panic when I was giving her orgasm after orgasm. You haven't been home in ages and the family has been wondering when you and Henry would visit" They always asked for Henry to go back home, and every time he refused. "I don't think that is a good idea Jesse"

"Why?" He sounded confused, he had the right to be. "It's not like he would f**k another girl in Bear Valley. Not after that one time"

"One time was more than enough for our small town. I honestly thought he would put that behind him"

Silence...Then Jesse asked stone cold. "Did he do something again?" Henry was already on thin ice with the bear packs around California if he had one more strike against his name, who knew what they would do. "It depends on what you are referring to Jes" 

"Him beating a woman? He is pulling a Grandpa Yeka again" Yeka was a great great great grandfather of ours. He was ruthless. Feared by women all around Bear Valley and hunted down by the hunters in the area. Big black Grizzly with scars to boot. Hell thinking about it just made me wonder why the f**k genes get carried over. "Not of what I heard of Jes, just my girl" I clasped my lips shut and cursed. "What did you just say?" Jesse exclaimed. "You keep your mouth shut Jesse or I swear the next time I'm home I will ring you up myself against that flag pole in the front yard"

"That was an accident and you know it"

Jesse sighed. "Fine. But the family will eventually find out about her. They would be happy to hear you found a mate. Is she a bear?" f**k this is the question I hated to answer. "She is human" I closed my eyes as my own movement started to bug me. I sat down in the chair looking out into the city. The hustle never stopped. It was a city that never slept. "You are going to tell her right?" Jesse asked. "Soon, not now. She has been through a lot. And before you ask me, it's not a concern. She is safe and she will always remain safe as long as she is with me." 

"Overprotective much?"

"Only because of her. How's the Ranch? Anything new going on?" I asked to get us away from the topic of Alice.

We spoke for a while longer, Mom eventually found Jesse in the barn after I told him she called him at least four times to get his butt inside before winter fully hit. But he told me not to worry. That was until I heard Katy (my mom) walk into the barn and ask him if he was hard of hearing. I shook my head, I missed the ranch, but business was here. And Jesse was looking after the Ranch with mom and John. She told me about George and Conner. And what everybody was up to. Asked me again when I will be bringing home a woman and producing cubs. I swear that woman wants grandchildren more than gravy and biscuits some days. She did ask how Henry was doing but I soon talked that dead by telling her that I was planning on visiting soon. Kate asked if I was coming home for Christmas, but I couldn't tell her. I wasn't sure what I would be doing. I hung up the phone about an hour later and decided to head to bed. I took off my shirt, and pants and was left in the shorts. My erection has gone for the time being. Alice was fast asleep, she did toss and turn but then settled down the moment I climbed into bed and kissed her nose. With a sigh, she turned to me and opened her eyes just a bit. "What time is it?" Her sleepy voice asked. "Almost midnight. Go back to sleep" Alice gave a lopsided smile, nodded, and closed her eyes. It has been three days since everything happened, and I really hoped that things would just return to normal without anybody popping up or make Alice insecure again. I fell asleep next to Alice after I gently turner her around so I could hold her tight. This really did feel like nothing I have ever felt before. This was fate. This is what they spoke about in the packs when they told stories about finding mates.

The next day after six, my doorbell went off and I woke up grodgy. Alice was sitting up, looking around scared. I wiped my eyes and sat up next to her. "Morning" She looked at me and I could see her breath in and out the moment I spoke. "Morning" She returned the greeting. I kissed her on the lips. Something that was supposed to have just been a good morning kiss turned into a dance of our tongues. The bell went off again, and I had to unfortunately break the kiss. "The clothing" I informed her. "I forgot about that for a moment" I smirked "I can make you forget about a lot more things" She winked "Tempting" Her seductive tone, send a signal straight to my c**k. "Babe, don't tempt me" She pouted. "But I wanted to" I kissed her forehead and stood up. "Why not go take a shower, I will get us breakfast and then make sure you get to work safely" Her expression changed. "I almost forgot about that" And I was planning on making her forget everything else that might have caused her harm. She stood up and pointed to the only other door in the room. I nodded. "Through there yes. Just be careful the multicolored lights can be a little bright as the water temperature changes.: Her eyes sparkled as she asked "They change color?" I laughed. "They sure do" The bell dinged again and I groaned. "Go before whoever it is at the door leaves and I will have to forfeit my job" Alice said with a laugh. I gave her one last kiss and walked out to the door. As I opened it Becka was looking at her phone tapping her foot. For a fox patient was not her strong suit. "Becka" I greeted.
