Chapter Thirty One

I was suffocating in constant visions of this passing weekend. No matter how many times I have tried to think of something else, it seemed almost possible to keep my train of thought on something else. I pulled into the parking garage and parked my car in a vacant spot. Cutting the ignition, I listened as my old automobile die out to a silence. Upon exiting the vehicle, I pulled my bags from the passenger seat before I walked over to the elevator. The normal sway of music played from the small speakers of the elevators as it moved up to my desired floor. The doors opened, giving me to visual of a busy floor. “Yes, I will direct you to him now. Hold on for moment please.” The receptionist clicked over to the next line as she looked up at me. “Good morning.” “Good morning.” I responded
